Where can I find authentic Mexican cuisine in/around Las Vegas?  I'm looking for something truly Mexican. It doesn't need to be fancy, just good. The best I've had so far, is a restaurant somewhere in Utah. We were coming back from Bryce Canyon and stopped at a beat up old house that had a beat up sign out front that said "Restaurant". The food and service was unbelievable! very casual but first rate. I don't mind driving a ways to find the right place. Thanks for any suggestions.

everyone has different tastes...really depends on your definition of authentic I guess...here's my fave places in town that I frequent...

faustos/robertos/don tortaco - good when you're up late drinking and everything else is closed OR for breakfast burritos - fast foodish but better than del or TBell for "authenticity"

Juan's Flaming Fajitas
Coyotes
Phat Phranks
Carlitos - New Mexican style w/ green/red
Mercadito
Viva Mercado
Lindo Michoacán
Taco Y Taco
