Well if you are a poker fan you have to hit up Bin ions. Its downtown and its where the wsop started. The poker room has lots of pics of players and its got the feeling of a poker room not an assembly line feel like some of the places around town. I've seen brunson Helmuth and negreanu there in person and many others. Check it out at least once before it fades away.

Looking to burn some time at a good Poker room while in town.  Don't have a huge bankroll so just looking for 1-2 or 2-5 NL.  Nice to just spend a night hanging out, talking with people and playing poker.  Have done Planet Hollywood but though locals know best.  Any ladies star players?

I'm an avid player who now lives in Vegas. I play at the Aria, Bellagio, and Wynn, which are all nice rooms and have plenty of action at those stakes. The Venetian also has a big poker room, but I won't play there because the owner, Sheldon Adelson, is lobbying to keep online poker illegal and doing other political activities with which I strongly disagree. However YMMV.

You may want to download the free Bravo poker app (or go to the website, just google it) to get real-time information about which games are runnng at each of the casinos.

Although nearly every Strip casino has enough of a poker room to give you plenty of action at those limits (I generally play 10/20 or 25/50 NLHE or 10/20 PLO, so it's mostly Bellagio and Aria for me).

I have actually heard that if you want awesome action at lower stakes NL, the Excalibur has a great 1/2 game.

If you like daily tournaments, Aria definitely offers the best value for your dollar.

I've heard Lorena is into poker, but not sure.
