Thanks for the information i'm staying at the Palazzo So room should be okay

I am coming to Vegas was thinking about getting a smoking room and was wondering if room smell like stale cigarettes or if
Housekeeping done a good job of keeping rooms smelling fresh.

well lucky for me I kicked the habit, now im just addicted to nicotine gum lol. in my experiences with smoking rooms on the strip they really didn't seem bad at all , but then again a non-smoker might say different. when I stayed downtown  that stale smoke smell was even too much for me. it just seemed like the bed linens and drapes were saturated in it.

I was wondering the same thing.  I stopped smoking cigarettes almost 10 yrs ago but still have a cigar once or twice a year.  I was thinking about getting a smoking room on my upcoming trip but was worried about the room smell.  I was even considering trying a non-smoking room with a balcony but didn't know if that is frowned upon.  Plus if I have a lady friend up I don't want the room to smell bad for her whether she is a smoker or non smoker.

I'm not really a smoker...hehe... but I've stay at a smoking room where you really couldn't tell that it is was a smoking room. You could sense aliitle but nothing too obvious. The better hotels where I couldn't tell were the Wynn,Encore,Bellagio,Aria,Venetian, and to a degree Caesars. The Flamingo,Mirage.MGM you could tell/smell that it was a smoking room.
Hope this helps.
