I travel to Green Valley/Henderson often:)
The Green Valley Ranch hotel and casino the rooms are nice I have been to that hotel many times.
The Green Valley Ranch is a little distance from the Strip depending on which route you can take.
There is many restaurants very close to the hotel as THE District which has restaurants and shops are nearby.
There is Cheesecake factory,Lucille's BBQ,PF Chang's restaurant just to name a few that are very close by to the hotel. As far as dining choices in the hotel which ones are good I am not to sure about.
I have only eaten at their Cafe inside the hotel.

Conference at Green Valley in the Fall. Is it worth it as appears to be a pain to Strip etc?  Any providers travel there?  Any suites worth looking into?  Restaurants cllose or on site that are nice? Only have stayed on strip in the past so any information is appreciated from gents or providers. Thanks.

Hank's Fine Steak's on the property has very good reviews, but I have not made it there yet.
Lucille's BBQ has very good reviews and I have eaten there and would recommend. (but I am a Yankee, so what would I know about BBQ?) It is in a mall directly adjacent to GVR and there are several other well - reviewed restaurants in the same mall.

The commute from GVR to the center strip is fairly easy along I215/I15.  Would be expensive to cab repeatedly.

GVR requires key cards to get to the room, so a lady must be greeted in the lobby.

Hank's is actually rather upscale and even had live music when I dined there. Green Valley, is quite nice and next door to other dining options/shopping and a bit less chaotic than the strip IMHO.

Not familiar with taxi fees. Perhaps an Uber APP would be economical and convenient.
                                                                Enjoy!

I love it there.  I am happy to travel there as well.

Thanks for replies. Glad to know that provider's will travel there. Several of you are on my "must see" list for October. Anyone been in a suite at Green Valley?  Are they worth it and which one?  Can't tell much from website. Thanks to everyone for the help.

I have not personally been to a suite at that hotel.
However the link I attached is one of the suites they offer looks pretty big.
I am sure there are other suites but this link is a starting point for you to get an idea.
The pictures show what one of the suites look like and also what the King room looks like.
In addition to the photos it also gives you the pros and cons of the property.
Very nice site if you are looking to see what the rooms really look like in hotels besides what the hotel puts on their website.

I ate at Claim Jumpers right near there a few years ago w/a friend of mine. The food was awesome & portions were huge.
