What's the sentiment on holding a local San Diego meet and greet? LA just had a fabulously successful one.
Would you attend? What format? I've seen some cities do a lunch time function. Does that have appeal? If we did an evening function what would be the right price range? LA charged guys 40. Girls got in free. I keep getting bounced off the San Diego board. My question was more exploratory but if they want this here, okay. Even then I got about 60 views there and only one reply from one girl. This isn't going to happen if you don't show some interest. You can pm me too if you want. Thanks. aka OtterI have been to all of Chloe Wildes parties that she has advertised on TER. And I will tell u, they have been sparsely attended by the gents and the ladies. Its not her fault, just what has happened. They have been held in private homes which is really cool. I really don't know what the problem is. Other than possibly the gents price of admission ($100).
I have hosted over a dozen parties for the LA area. I get 150-200 people at my parties. Believe me, if I didn't get the attendance, I wouldn't host. Its a lot of work and there are expenses involved.
So come on SD ladies and gents, if a party is announced, try and attend.
I appreciate you adding your thoughts. I recognize what a super job you have done in the LA area. Everyone who follows M&G events is very aware of your efforts and successes. I would like to see if something local could evolve in SD. I don't think the initial effort would be close to your recent events, but I would be happy to start small. I am interested in this post to gauge the latent interest. Reading your posts, I recognize that a key ingredient is to have a woman co-chairperson. I need to enlist a good recruit.

I plan on staying put in LA through August (with maybe a short trip here and there). So coming to a San Diego M&G would be very easy for me, considering LA and SD are only about a couple of hours apart. I always enjoy seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. If you have an event, I'd love to visit!

Yes! The idea of and SD M&G certainly appeals. Even a $100 buy in is not unreasonable. Especially if there are a lot of ladies that attend. I have been looking for a new regular provider for a while and the M&G would be the perfect venue for me.
