I'm going to be in town in a few weeks & I'm always looking to try some place new . I've heard mixed things about this place . What are your opinions ? If bad what would you recommend if I'm looking for something that caters to the young & hip crowd .

At the very least tell me it's better then the old Sahara . I stayed there back when I was a broke college kid and boy what a rat trap it was !

Restaurant and club venues excellent (I rec Cleo and 800 Degrees and I dig Life), geared to the LA hipster crowd. Gaming and rooms kinda meh but after all it is the remodeled Sahara.

I'm rooting hard for them to succeed, they have a lot of good ideas, but are totally lost on basic casino ops thingies.

They barred me from playing blackjack there after about four or five visits.

Then again, so did Cosmo...sigh...

than the old Sahara hotel. The rooms have all been remodeled and have mirrors on the walls and ceiling.
If you are looking for a young and hip crowd I would recommend the Cosmopolitan as well.
I ate at Katsuya pretty good sushi at SLS.But even better Blue Ribbon at Cosmo.
Good luck and have fun!

My younger clients stay and host parties there. It's a young crowd with a good vibe. Great pizza joint there, if you can find it, especially at 4am.

this is perfect for the what your looking for its geared more to the younger crowd, very South Beach vibe with the rooms on the smaller side, and a mirror is included on the ceiling.

to everyone for their help . It sounds like the Cosmo might be the better choice . Now that I know where I'm staying I can get on to the fun part and find someone to keep me company lol :)
