I just saw on the TV News that the murder of Cheryl of Chicago was just solved. It was committed by a gentleman she was acquainted with that she had given money to, to invest in real estate. It appears that she wanted to get her money back and was putting pressure on him to return it. He no longer had it.
When police arrived to serve the warrant to the Streamwood "gentleman", he put a gun to his head and committed suicide.
I am thankful that the murder was solved and I think we can all rest better knowing that it was not related to business. May Cheryl rest in Peace knowing that her killer has been found.

If anyone knows how to get TER to remove her reviews I think that would be appropriate. I emailed them and nothing has happened. I'm suggesting this knowing that Cheryl may be up there smiling every time someone reads a description of one of her fabulous sessions...
I emailed them as well, bleeped. I also emailed them a link to the news story that she was murdered.

It's good to see this was solved. I am sure Cheryl's spirit is smiling up in heaven.
Just like we both knew would be the case. Sweeter still, we do not have to wait an ungodly amount of time for that to happen, now Cheryl can have peace. She was so lucky to have you as a friend. She is looking down and smiling on you babe.

I spoke to Cheryl's mom today and she was so touched by all the sentiments and kind words from all of the girls and hobbyists. She was very impressed by the sense of community we all have...and she sends her heartfelt thanks.
I think it is quite ironic that this happened almost to the day that I am retiring. If Cheryl had something to do with this, she once again blessed me....as I can now leave without anything hanging over my head.

I don't think he was a gentleman. I am glad they found him, but I get no satisfaction that justice was was done. She is still gone, and that is very sad.
with a new website so they might have not had time to check their inbox. I heard something about a new TER site so that may be the case of them not answering PMs. RIP Cheryl and now her family can be more at ease.
Even if they are busy, I don't see how that would affect the moderators time unless they were web designers as well (maybe they are). Even if they are designers, they find the time to post new reviews, how long would it take to take down Cheryl's reviews? I realize that they have real lives outside of TER and that they're volunteering their time here, but it's been nearly 2 months.
Moderators don't approve reviews, they only moderate the boards. However Girl Next Door has said she would forward Cheryl's profile links to "Staff" so hopefully that will be enough to get the ball rolling in the right direction.
