In a more recent posting I made an analogy to the World Series. When the Cubs play the Yankees in the 2004 World Series, I''m going to spend the money it takes to get a great box seat rather than sit in the bleachers with all the drunks.
I have been lurking around the halls of TER for a couple of years now and have found a lot of good information and tricks of the trade to help make my hobbying efforts a lot less painful. There is however one area where I felt/feel there was/is a lack of good solid hints and information; What is the "real" difference between a $300-$500 GFE provider and a $1,500+ GFE provider?
Reading reviews haven't really helped me, as a $300-$500 GFE could/can have the same average score as a $1,000-$1,500 GFE, sometimes even higher!!
Now, instead of whining to the board, requesting info and viewpoints from others (you veterans out there will be proud of what I did), I decided to take the plunge and find out for myself what the fuzz was/is all about of these high-priced providers. Last week, I called up one of the highest priced agencies (at least that I know of here in NY) and booked a 2hr session with one of their hotest models. (review will be posted over the weekend).
My own conclusion of this (close to $2,000+ experience is of course based on only this one experience). Although the provider was beautiful, just as her pictures promised and the service was impeccable, I can't help but be dissapointed that my previous experiences (e.g. monalisa models) have been equally good to this "elite" provider charging almost 3 times as much.
So now my question to the board is: How would you rate/compare your best $300-$500 GFE experience to your best $1,000-$1,500 GFE experience? Is the service and quality of the provider really worth the extra $1,000. I say no!
Would appreciate any comments you guys might have.

It's a matter of what the price represents in terms of your overall resources. If the extra cost isn't noticeable and there's some increased value, then it's "worth it". But as much as the difference between $300 and $1000 IS noticeable to me, it may be nothing to someone with lots more income that me. I drive a Toyota and couldn't imagine justifying the price of a Porche, but for some people it's no big deal.
I admit I have never seen a $1000 or higher provider so I can't say what they act like. I imagine someone paying the higher price would expect it to ensure really great looks and attitude, and to reduce the chance of a YMMV experience. I'd be interested to hear if generally does.
Unless the provider can stick her tong down my throat and have it come out my rear end then wrap it around my waist to tickle my balls, there is know way I will pay that kind of money (and I have the money). I have had some providers give me the ultimate experience for $300 bucks.
What can they possibly do to justify that kind of Donation......I have left a few providers with very nice tips....upto a hundred bucks because they were worth it and did not ask for it.
If I did drop 3Gs, I probably wouldn't even be able to get it up just thinking about what I just gave a provider.

The ultra-priced MAY offer more chance of
a 9 or 10 in looks, but experience still is YMMV.
I've sampled the top-end agencies, but keep
coming back to mona lisa, as their top two-thirds
of models are extremely pretty, and, with some
normal variation, on the whole offer as
excellent an experience as I'd ever hope for.
Having been in the hobby for awhile myself. Guess what? There really is no big difference. I have had $500 escorts look just as good and performance just as great as the $1500 models. However, I will say that the Porno Stars at $1500 plus are well worth it. Typically get some extras that you would not get with $500 providers. I just have not noticed a difference in the models in performance. Save the $1500 for an all nighter with a nice model type indy. There are plenty in NY, and they typically provide solid service in all areas.
The difference between a $1500 escort and a $300 escort is $1200. That is about it.
You can find just as many $300 escorts that are hot and offer then same type of service as the higher end girls.
Forget about NYConfidential and Mona Lisa. The prices are ten times higher, the reviews not much better.
I would tend to think that one benefit would
be that a high-priced provider would be
more selective, and therefore have less clients,
do it less often, and only with respectable people
who are very careful.
I would think that you are paying for more
safety and less risk of an STD.

That all depends. It varies from woman to woman and from day to day. Harry Carray was the only one who could ever whole-heartedly say that "Every day is a beautiful day for a ballgame." But seriously, I think some of these agencies are WAY over priced. But that high price is what draws some clients in. Do you really think that a $85,000 Mercedes is going to perform that much better than a $45,000 Lexus? They're both great looking machines. Some clients like the idea of spending an exorbitant amount of money. If that's' what gets them high, more power to them and to each his own. I've found that NY Confidential tends to find the balance between being reasonably priced high priced than an independent), yet not so exorbitant that I feel like a first cousing of the former Shah of Iran. And there's never a dog in their kennel, either.
