Just spent several days in BKK and never saw one problem. Was there for the Kings birthday and it was if everything stopped to celebrate his 86th birthday. Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy were business as usual. Stayed at the Majestic near Nana....no problems.
Arriving in Bangkok on Dec 1st. Is it still safe with recent protest?

My friends who live there say it is crazy right now. 300,000 people rioting in the streets and tear gas everywhere being set off by police to control the rioters. Looks like a civil war there now.
If you do go, I would head to Pattaya, that she be better than Bangkok.
I have been here 4 days now without any issue. Even ventured to Grand Palace very close to protest and nothing. As far as Nana & Soi Cowboy all appears business as usual
