Does anyone have info on Deleno.
I recall THE Hotel did not check, but I am not sure if the new owners have added security. I do know that the hotel is now NON-Smoking (of any variety).

Thanks

last time i went to the hotel before the name change they had security and wanted to see key it was in the day time

Just keep in mind, that Security Protocol at any hotel can change on a whim.

Oh, and Days Inn has no security!  :) :)

Cheers!

You can add SLS to the "keys all the time" list.

They have security at the elevators at random times through the day.  I was there a couple weeks ago and it was more during the day then at night.  They just see if you have a key, they don't swipe it.  I bet a key from a month ago would work.

I get why this list exists but I am curious if security is an issue beyond provider access. I read an online article (that was several years old) that LE in Vegas was instructing casino security how to spot providers. So I'm wondering does security care that a well-dressed (and I always request providers dress up NOT utr, just my preference.) about well-behaved providers coming to their hotel? And yes, I am aware they often won't know if she is a provider (especially in Vegas) but this question is based on when it may appear somewhat obvious--maybe a younger gal with much older man whose been at the hotel for four days and just now has a "daughter"  or security recognizes a provider from her website.   You get my point, does security give a hoot in Vegas?

I think security gives the Providers who are walking the casino floor more of a difficult time. They are probably easier to pick out than a Provider who is going straight to meet her Client.

Only in America is it weird for a granddaughter to hold her grandfathers hand in a purely innocent way.

You will see plenty of other cultures here where you can never tell what their relationship is. If security walked up to every 18 year old with a hand around a 50 year olds back they would be pissing off a lot of tourists.

Very Good Product, I highly recommend. :-)

If you are traveling as part of a convention or work seminar, you can't really take the chance of being seen by a colleague with an unexplained lady.

It is also generally helpful in planning a session to know what the logistics are of getting to the room

Sunset Station - security at elevators but not intrusive
Hooters - no security or key cards
Embassy Suites by HRH - no security or key cards
Orleans - security at elevators but not intrusive
Venetian - security at elevators, name needs to be on room for access
California - no security at elevators or key cards
South Point - security at elevators but not intrusive
Excalibur and Luxor - security at elevators but not intrusive

So the Venetian checks ID in addition to key every time you enter?

Stay at Palazzo many times and they only look to see if you have a key. I would imagine Venetian has same policy since they are sister properties.  Never had any Hotel check ID and key .

if you are staying in the more exclusive tower not the main one you need the name of guest on room and key or they need to come and get you

These are the properties I identified from my list without a comment as yet.

Green Valley Ranch
Tropicana
Sun Coast
Delano
Cromwell
Aliante
Silverton

Any adds to the list would be most welcome.
