So I have seen increasingly tight screening requirements in LV. Is this LV specific?
Not that I don't fully understand the need for screening out LE and possibly worse..I do. However, there is a chicken and egg thing on getting a local reference; further, the idea of my name and employer on someone's server is concerning...despite the pledge of privacy. (Elliot Spitzer anyone??)
Is there a middle ground? I mean it is easy to find a CG in any casino...they are the only hot girls who make eye contact with me!!! And there is an advantage of seeing in person (and getting 15 minutes of cocktail time for "free"). The drawbacks include endless upsell, possible entrapment (not sure)...but ultimately the risks to the guy are similar, with big exception of no reviews!

Ladies screen in different ways.Not everyone is the same.
Some ladies do ask for references they do not necessarily need a reference that is local but someone who is reputable.Some ladies ask for all info and some will accept an appt with just a ter handle.
It is just up to you with how much info you are comfortable with providing.
I don't think an alternative to not providing any screening info and going with CG is going to be better.
Too many horror stories but hey if you want to go that route instead that is your choice.

I have been a provider for less than 3 weeks and I am still in a learning curve but, when I looked up your name as someone with no reviews posted and no whitelists you would have to expect to provide some sort of verification to see anyone.
Here's what I ask for and why-
First and Last name with your city of residence is required because I can run a quick background check and verify the info you provided and I can also see if you have any arrest records (this tells me you are who you say your are and aren't a felon with a history of assault)
Employment info is required so that I can prove you aren't a cop, it can be a direct link to your name on your company website or something like a link to an article about winning salesman of the year, even a linkedIn profile would suffice.
Provider Reference- while this one isn't "required" I like to have feedback from someone (in any state) that you have met with in the past 6 months to verify you are: safe, clean, and respectful. So far I have found this to be the most helpful part of screening and have gotten really great insights from other girls like "He is shy so you need to make the first move" or "be careful he tried to pressure me into uncovered full service"
So Sorry but screening is not something I or anyone else should skimp on!

Sorry to be the mama bear but don't judge how a provider (especially a brand new one) does her screening, this guy is obviously not a first time hobbyist and obviously doesn't want to be forthcoming with his personal information.
I'm sure anything else is on a case by case basis but for someone so new I am sure seeing clients who have references and no issues providing employment info gives a level of comfort in what can be an intimidating situation.

Anyone that steps outside of the bounds of setting up a date via TER or a similar website is taking a foolish and unnecessary risk especially when you are lucky enough to know that TER even exists!
The girls who go upstairs with total strangers or take work from backpage or even from here who are only requiring a first name and hotel room # are assuming tons of risk; as that person could be a serial killer or could be looking to hurt or rip the girl off. The girls from TER have a desire to maintain their good reputations and for most providers all or most of their livelihoods depend on keeping you happy so they are going to show up on time, deliver the services you expect and try to impress you that guarantee in of itself is worth providing your personal information

A P411 acct does not automatically mean no add'l screening is required. On the P411 client application it states clearly:
"Preferred411 is a tool used by many providers to help in the screening process. They are still welcome to do as much extra screening as deemed necessary to protect themselves, so please don't be surprised or offended if you are occasionally asked for additional info."
I don't know how so many guys miss this, but there it is in plain English. Some ladies won't accept newbies, and others prefer more info, even with a P411 acct, even if the gent has okays. We're all independent business owners, and that means we get to set the standard for how we verify potential clients. If you're uncomfortable with any lady's process, move on. What's the point in creating a topic crying about it here?
There are plenty of Vegas girls who would see any guy w/o screening him first. This means they know nothing about you & have no info to give police if they are assaulted. Not very smart, but perfect for the guy who doesn't want to give up any info. Certain hobbyists kill me with their attitudes towards screening. You want quality & beauty, but you don't want to help a lady feel comfortable about you and who you are. With all the risks that sex workers take being alone with COMPLETE STRANGERS, you'd think people would understand the need for thorough vetting of potential clients. But, I guess not.
