With my latest review and post I figured I would pose this question to the board. I always figured that our intention was to share our experiences with porn stars both good and bad. Whether that information was shared via review or board post, it did not matter as long as the truth was out there. Unfortunately someone has been PMing me saying I should not have shared what occurred between myself and Julia Bond. I'm under the belief that this was the whe purpose of the board. He argues on the other hand that I should have remained silent because my negative experience with Julia would effect her ability to make money. I should have allowed her to pull the same crap that she pulled on me on someone else.
Am I wrong I sharing what occurred? Is this board and reviews only to be about positive experiences? Is it every man for himself and we should allow someone else to be screwed over?
I put it to the board what is the purpose of posts and reviews if not to tell the truth and get information out there?
I think this board serves a valuable purpose beyond just the voyeuristic kicks. It's where an educated pussy consumer should go before plunking down oodles of valuable American dollars on women who are a flighty risk. If someone uses the board maliciously, chances are very good they will be called out on it. The atmosphere here is benign, not snarky. But if someone were to come on the board and slam a porn star provider as a thief, we have the resources to check out his credibility. If the search function reveals no prior posting history, I'd be inclined to view the negative report as a hatchet job or grudge fulfillment. If the poster has contributed in the past in an adult manner, I would incline to having an open mind about his complaint.
That's a mature and reasonable response in my opinion. Everything should be taken with a grain of salt. But even those without reviews can have helpful information. Our goal should not be to censor or stifle the truth whether it be positive or negative

Why? Are we not here to look out for one another? This isn't exactly like buying a lego set here mates, to some of us this is quite an investment and we would really appreciate as much information as possible, good or bad. As long as it is the truth, it has merit on this board. As long as it is the truth it should not be looked down upon. Right on Vin, keep it up mate. I have been a hobbyist for quite some time, but never with a PS provider, I keep searching and hoping that my first will come soon. Lots of information has led me to turn certain ladies away, to those gentlemen I say thank you.
I haven't read your review, but whatever it says is fine. All working girls will steal from you eventually. Just ask Charlie Sheen. Some think their pink-taco is a hallpass out of any situation.
And if they're hot enough, maybe it is.
And if it's accurate (and I have no reason to doubt you) you had every right to report it, and in fact an obligation to do so. Bottom line, this is a review site intended to guide customers towards good providers and away from bad ones. When the process is corrupted, the value of the site is degraded. We all know the nastiness that can occur over bad reviews and that's why people shy away from writing them. That's why there are review aliases. And that's why there's an RO board, so these experiences can be shared without providers seeing it, though we all know this board leaks like a seive.
There have been many times where I scheduled an appt and than canceled when I saw multiple bad reviews. Especially at $500+ per hour there has to be a certain expectation met.
Bad reviews, phone not ringing or not getting the repeat business a huge wake up call for a porn lady.

No she hasn't responded to any of my emails or texts and I haven't caught any of her webcamming
You were right to post about your negative experience.
HOWEVER, what I found strange was that you had seen Julia in the past. You obviously must have had a great time with her the first time or else you wouldn't have seen her again. If I was writing the review, I would have balanced it by talking about how great my first experience was and why you were so disappointed in this experience. How did she go from that great experience to a 6/2 review??? Was it just a bad day for her?

Obviously I had a good time in our first encounter, why else would I have seen her again? But that was 4 plus years ago and a lot can change over that period of time. I don't think this was a bad day for her, I think she just wanted the money Nd left 25 minutes into a 2 hour meeting. To me that's not a bad day, that's stealing especially when she refused to return the donation for the second hour. I'm not sure how we went from a fun first time experience to what happened. I'm not sure if what happened 4 years ago is even relevant to the review I submitted? Tried to review her after the initial meeting but she didn't have an ad so per TER rules I couldn't get one approved.

You have every right to post an accurate review, whether it be positive or negative. Like others have said, the reader can judge for themselves based on your history and the providers history. As for the guys who say that she won't be able to make money. Screw them, They are white knight types who like to suck up to providers. They are the same ones who run to them and tell them when somebody writes something unflattering about the,m. It's pretty pathetic actually. In this case, she doesn't deserve to make a living in this job. Some of them just aren't made for this kind of job. Sounds like she's one of these since she has no respect for people hard earned money.

In my opinion, I think you did nothing wrong. Reviews should be honest, and not predisposed to be positive.
As for the individual claiming that you have hampered Julia Bond's ability to make money. My retort to such an absurd statement would be simply, that all I have done is hamper her abiliity to rip off folks.
It's not VinBoer who "ruined" Julia Bond's ability to make money, it was Julia's actions or lack of actions that are harming her...Vin did nothing but report on his experience which is nothing more and nothing less than we ask for...Right on mate.

Especially if the provider did you wrong or wasn't what she advertized.
then you sleep well at night. She may have had an off day or something else....that's not up to you to figure out. You posted on your experience and your value of that experience. Ignore the PM's. they're annoying but not your problem.
Like in any other situation....we live and learn....on TER we get to live, learn & share (before we're out a Grand...$$$)
