about business cards. How discreet should they be? Should it be obvious what the business is? Should there be a photo? Just a web address? Should it be a card that is so discreet that if his wife found it in his wallet she would not take a second glance? I like the idea of business cards but I just can't wrap my head around a card that says "hooker" on it.

Many years ago, I saw a gal in the suburbs of Washington DC. She gave me a business card with her "business name" and phone number. The heading was her 3 initials followed by "business services". I thought it was kind of neat. Business services covers a LOT of territory !
However I was speaking to another provider about this not to long ago.
She had some business cards made that said consultant no picture and contact info that was not online.
That way if someone found the card and googled the email or phone# nothing would come up.
Me personally I don't do the business card but I guess it works for some ladies.
It's the guys problem if he lets his wife find it.
They are easily ordered and good to have on hand, IM
because I have a SO and I have to keep things secret.
