I was just a kid, but it was great.

Funny thing, my folks chose the Sahara for that trip because "they didn't want to stay on the Strip"
Yeah, really:)
Been there many times since over the last 50 years, looking forward to checking out the update.

Thursday night and It was very nice as far as security they had lots due to the preview so I can't comment on that.

The rooms are black and white themed. Totally different look and feel from Sahara.

Sorry for shouting it, but it deserves a shout-out.  FINALLY, a property that recognizes Las Vegas is SIN City -- the place has a ton of regular rooms all over the place with mirrored ceilings, and many of the rooms without ceiling mirrors have huge mirrors alongside the beds, and still other rooms have mirror at the headboard.

These rooms are elegant while still putting some sizzle back into the Las Vegas bedroom experience, whether you are with your wife, your lover, or just your girlfriend of the hour.

I hope more Vegas properties get the message that a simple thing like mirrors can spice up a property.  There is nothing better than a mirror alongside a bed for watching your own porno as you are living it.

While I appreciate the voyeuristic  pleasure of watching a couple having sex, the thought of view my own naked, out of shape body is enough to deflate the strongest of Viagra induced erections.  How providers put up with me I will never know.

The place is already filthy inside and out. The service was terrible and the place did not look posh or high end. The floors were a mess and the bathrooms were so disgusting that we refused to use them. I still want to try some of the restaurants but this is not a casino I would hang out in on my own time.

If you are wondering whether or not to eat at an unfamiliar restaurant, check the bathrooms.  If they are not clean, don't eat there.  It reflects management's attitude regarding cleanliness.
