They arent quite finished with it yet. Yesterday the valet said they will be done next month.
It is looking pretty nice and the shower was standard in the room I was in.

I'm booking a conference and they're offering it as one of the options. Good for play? Nice rooms? How are the showers? I like em with plenty of room to play...
The rooms are still the same from when it was The Hotel.
All rooms have a small wet bar , living room area with a desk , couch and TV and the bath room has a large 2 person tub and a separate shower big enough for 2.
Have fun , no big changes just yet.
Thanks for posting. It'll be my first time at this hotel and the conference is at Mandalay. I used to have to walk every day from the MGM so this will be a huge improvement.

Thanks! I love the bigger showers but I always have a hard time convincing guests to shower with me. Hope this year is better!

their official open date is early September...
Rooms are supposed to be remodeled and updated; but will still be suites.
When it was The Hotel they had no security for elevators; but I think that will change
Late October or early November.

They are keeping the dark granite and marble in the baths and showers and whitening up walls, fabrics and furniture. Personally, I liked the old decor better, but it was in need of a face lift.
I don't know as security will change, especially since they continue no security at Mandalay Bay.
