NOW we know the REAL reason Lebron returned to Cleveland.

Again like the previously shared article the Vegas market doesn't seem to be mentioned nor dropping in price....

Thoughts?

Here's the text:

THE ECONOMIST has analysed 190,000 profiles of female sex workers on websites where customers post reviews. The data cover 84 cities in 12 countries, with the biggest number of workers in America and most of the rest in big cities in rich countries. According to our analysis, the price of an hour of sex with a female prostitute has been dropping fairly steadily in recent years. In 2006 the average cost was around $340. By 2014 it had dropped to about $260.
A prostitute’s hourly rate depends on a variety of factors, including the services she provides and her reported physical characteristics. Those that conform most closely to the stereotypical version of Western beauty—slim, with long blonde hair and full breasts—earn the most. Those who provide niche services—for example, sex workers who will accept two male clients at once—also command a premium. Location matters too. Prostitutes in San Francisco, where the cost of living is high, charge more than those in cheaper cities such as Prague.
The fall in prices can be attributed in part to the 2007-8 financial crisis. Even places that have escaped the worst effects, such as London, have been hit. In cities such as Cleveland, Ohio, where unemployment peaked at 12.5% in 2010, prices have plummeted. Migration is another reason prices have fallen. In big rich cities such as London, which attract an ongoing inward flow of (poorer) migrants, they can push prices down. In places such as Norway, where previously local prostitutes tried to all charge about the same, growing numbers of migrant sex workers make such unofficial price controls harder to sustain. The increase in people selling sex online—where it is easier to be anonymous—has probably boosted local supply. Meanwhile broader social changes may have reduced demand. Casual and adulterous sex is easier to find than in the past. Pre-marital sex is more acceptable and divorce easier, meaning fewer frustrated single and married men turn to prostitutes.
Sex workers complain that they are earning less than in the past. But their incomes may not have fallen as steeply as the decline in prices would suggest. The shift towards advertising and coordinating the sale of sex online means that prostitutes rely less on intermediaries, such as brothels and agencies, pimps and madams. That means that they may be able to keep a greater proportion of their income. But selling sex online brings new demands. Clients contact sex workers via their websites, by e-mail, through Facebook and Twitter. Some websites allow prostitutes to tell clients whether they are currently available; but that means going online frequently to update their status. Such work is time-consuming, so some prostitutes may end up paying someone to do it for them. For sex workers as much as anyone, time really is money

Prices in Vegas will probably be more stable than other parts of the country. Vegas is a party town! You expect to pay more there. People come with money, for food, for gambling, and for sex. If you have no money, you don't come. Also,  the girls available,  are of such high quality,  that they can command the fees they are getting, and we just hand over the pics of Ben quite easily.  I personally can't wait to do it again in October!

and to me it is totally bogus. San Francisco along with Dallas have always been the market with the cheapest prices.

Wondering how long this post will last before it's deleted like the last ones... Lol

Anyways, From the article:

"In 2006 the average cost was around $340. By 2014 it had dropped to about $260."

Certainly not the case in Las Vegas. I remember the days back in 2006 where $300 would get your rocked by a highly reviewed provider.

My opinion but the quality in Las Vegas is far better than other cities and there are also SO many other distractions for civvies that hooking up and getting laid (despite the popular perception of Las Vegas that getting laid is easy) is not nearly as possible as other cities. Heck... there's no need for me to hobby in other cities such as Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, LA or San Diego. "Last Call" is actually very cool when staying in a nice hotel. ;)

Vegas has over 40 million visitors a year and many of these are guys visiting to escape their boring lives for some fun and a cheap vacation. (I mean really... where else can you stay at top notch resorts for less than $200 a night?) Plenty of disposable income to indulge in the finer things in life. ;)

It's always about Supply vs. Demand.... there is tons of demand in Vegas and not really that much quality supply which is why the prices are the prices for the quality providers. Precisely why the ripoff agencies in Vegas continue to make millions on stupid tourists. Precisely why all of the casino trolls continue to ask for $1,000 for some crappy service to the idiots that don't know about TER.

If I was a decent looking provider in some other city... I'd be moving to Vegas to establish my business. The cost of living is low considering the prices that can be charged. LA, San Diego, New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C. -- the cost of living is twice as much and the prices that can be charged for services are pretty much the same if not even less.

Pretty much a no brainer if you want a Mercedes and a closet full of Chanel everything.... With money left over for lots of fun and to buy real estate and invest.

JMO of course..

Yea, right!  90% of my mongering is in Vegas.  But I've occasionally checked on "rates" in NYC, DC, LA, DAL, etc. and, while in general, LV's rates may be a slightly higher on average, there's still some tremendous value if you do a little bit of solid research.  Some of the "touring ladies" will set different rates for different cities, but not all.  As we've discussed on here many many many MANY times, there's several factors that go into rates.  Some gals really put alot of effort into establishing  their rates...based upon the proverbial business expenses and desired "profit".  Others, likely most, will simply coat-tail their rates.  For some ladies, this is their ONLY income, for others, it's a "second job"!   Some gals will be very limited in their appointments....and seek out the higher end clientele on a more infrequent basis.  Others will bang all day if given the opportunity.  Different strokes for different folks.  There's no "one size fits all" in this hobby.   Look, this is a hobby!  You have a choice as to whether or not you want to play.  I could go on and on and on.... but it's 5 O'clock somewhere!!!

Clients who wisely use the resources of this forum and similar sites are, in my opinion, a minority in Vegas!!!   Look, there's a reason the "Direct To You" racket remains so prominent!!   And if you think our bevy of reviewed ladies are over-priced....think about what those "gotta-get-laid-NOW" guys are shelling out when they call 1-800-SCAM-YOU!!

Cheers!
