anytime you get intimate with someone you don't really know you are taking a chance of getting an std.  oral or  intercourse it doesn't matter.  a close friend of mine is in the medical field and last week a patient came in with white spots in her mouth.   she performed a bbbj  and aquired an std  from her  boyfriend.  she has it for the rest of her life!!  I use to be open to bbbj but after doing some  extensive research, talking to people in the medial  field my bbbj  days are  over.   for me safety is number one so I pick providers who also value safety first.   at first a cbj  was different but now that I only receive cbj  they do the job for me.  I don't leave the provider thinking I caught something from her as having the condom on helps me feel safer.  obviously it's not guaranteed that you will never get a std  but I'm not taking any chances.  hopefully most provides and  hobbyist get tested regularly for everyone's safety.   the safest  way would be to not  be intimate with anyone or just exclusivity see a  personal girlfriend and you both are only intimate with each other.  I enjoy seeing escorts because of the no strings friendships that I  make with them.  I've meet some real nice, beautiful and genuine ladies  and I've also meet some  trashy,  desperate ladies.   I'm not here to judge but I'll decide who is best for me.  for me picking the "limited menu ladies"  works for me.  I  still get to live some fantasies and at the same time I can sleep at night knowing I'm doing all I can to be safe.

How safe can getting a bbbj really be. What are the real risks involved?

I have lost count how many BBBJ I got but I'm still alive and the recent full panel test came up all negative. It does help that I have been vaccinated for some STDs.  Risk of catching HIV is very small though. I did catch something called NGU a few years ago, which is another word for "we don't know what it is, but it's bacterial and non-gonnoccocol". Antibiotics got rid of that fast and that was the only time I got something that I'm aware of.

IMO most bacterial STDs are curable but viral are harder to cure if at all. As for HPV, there's no test for that. There are like 40 strains or something but you can get vaccinated for the 4 major strains.

If you don't tell your doctor that you have an active sexual lifestyle, he or she will most likely put you in the "low risk" category and not approve giving you things like HPV / HEP A/B vaccines. unless you're a young female or someone who falls in high risk category. In the beginning, I didn't tell anyone that I go to strip clubs or see escorts but I have learned long ago that my doctor needs to know these things before he can make the best decisions.

Make no mistake, any guy or girl who sees escorts or clients on a regular basis fall under the "high risk" category for HPV and other STDs. I feel it's better to be honest to someone I call "my doctor".

HIPAA laws protect our medical records from being released unless we commit a felony of some sort. If my doctor releases my records or talks about my mongering to others without my consent, well my attorney will be more than happy to make some easy money for himself and me. But I have a doctor who is a professional in his field that I trust.

The care I get has changed since he became aware.  Best part is, my insurance pays for almost all of this shit and I don't need to pay out of pocket for 3rd party clinics. ;)

Since I occasionally visit foreign countries for camping trips, I also got vaccinated for many of those strange foreign diseases that we have a cure for.  Why not get them and become a modern day 'invincible man' who's immune? Go to a travel clinic for fastest service. It will cost you a bit since most insurance doesn't cover all of them but if you spread them out over weeks or months the cost won't be bad.

Travel clinic nurse will no doubt spew some bull shit about low risk high risk but insist on getting what you want to get. They'll be glad to take your money. The way I see it is that those nurses, as intelligent as they are,  aren't trained to deal with hobbyists who get BBBJ from escorts and may not realize that we are the ones who need these since some escorts we see are directly from those foreign countries not to mention BBBJ DATY etc are a full-contact sport. Hence "higher risk" than people who just pass through air ports and walk around as tourists.

MIB = Medical Insurance Board. If you've been diagnosed with something in the U.S., it's going to show up when it comes to any type of Insurance you wish to obtain even if it's been cured and there is nothing your Attorney will be able to do about it.

Also... it's not that hard to have your medical records subpenaed if it deals with endangering the health of another person WITHOUT having to commit a felony.

Just Saying...

Cheers!

Aside from major viral STDs, I couldn't care less if my insurance finds out. Insurances already know since they are PAYING for it. LOL

As for HIV though, Walmart / CVS sells HIV test kits.   That's the ONLY extra thing I do on my own in between hospital tests, since the law in many counties say they are required to report it to Dept of Health.

However, considering I don't do BBFS with providers and I've been clean of HIV for as long as I have been in the hobby I figure I prolly won't get it and not all that concerned about it as much as I was back when I was a newbie.

Hep A/B I'm immune so no worries there.  I can't think of other major diseases on CDC radar that may be reported to Dept of Health. Maybe HPV or Genital Herpes? But I have been vaccinated for 4 strains of HPV so it doesn't matter to me all that much.

Hepetitis C, a biotech company game up with a treatment or a cure, I forget which one but it's one less thing to worry about.

Therefore, HPV is the only real disease that concerns me because there are no real standard tests for it and none of us really know if we have it. Being vaccinated from 4 strains is better than nothing though

giving them or getting them? Bwwwaaahhhaaa! Life is full of chances, so enjoy it while you can; or become a hermit.

As an experienced provider.. Many of my clients over the years have been are md's and I too have learned a lot.. I also see my doctors for (cultures ,blood work, and to be the safest I can be/regular basis) My body is my temple (I have a lot to live for)

I would say as with anything in this business be as safe as possible..Many brothel ladies I know also have taught me protocal for atleast trying to stay as safe as possible (just because something says we do on a profile we may not do with EVERYONE!!!!

Im not sure how CIM,or swalllows works in the body for safety.. Yet, us woman in las vegas seem to know what we are doing .. everyone looks and seems to be healthy..  take care of their bodies and minds and souls here.. No desperate ones I see..(with any gossip Im sure rumor would get around about this too)

Im at home having had my tonsilis removed (nothing hobby related) should have done when I was a kid.

If I see a European etc.. I need to worry about Ebola/etc.. and any other disease? You have to live life on life's terms . Trust your gut /intuition

Ive not been on the board as much as usual lately but I hope this OP finds a little peace of mind and understands he is not obligated/nor is the lady to do anything that feels unsafe.. stay away from safe ones

final answer yes..BBBJ has risks.. stay on top of your health..

I get to Europe in Sept. around sept 11th. there are risks.. yet,My decision is I want to and I am going to do what works for me..

disclaimer;
This post is not meant to be rude, obnoxious, and in no way make light of the op post.. Im only coming from my point of view and my knowledge I have gained over the years .. I have remained safe/idease /std free (thank god) and I only want the best for others

Sincerely and respectfully,
Lovely Lorena ka Lorena De Leo

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!!!!!
Take care sweetheart...still around ya know.

Everything in life has risks. Do what you can to get those risks down and enjoy life.
