My reply overlapped your 2nd post by a few seconds. Might as well leave the Q and A posted in case others want to know or have more to add.

However, to delete a post ...
Open your post.
If the "Edit Message" button at the bottom is still active, delete the entire message body and replace the subject line with "Delete".
TER Admin will take notice and delete your post and all replies to it.

So I'm new to TER and to providing in NYC and still trying to figure out some stuff. I was told that as a provider I get limited VIP so i can read the messages in my inbox but it keeps asking me to purchase? What do I need to do to get limited VIP?  Also do I have to wait for someone to write a review to build my profile?

Thanks in advance!

... if it's been less than 4 hours since you posted it, Edit it, change the subject line to DELETE (with caps), and save.  It will disappear immediately, but you will still be able to read it via My Posts.

If it's been more than 4 hours so you can no longer edit it, you can use the Report A Post button under the post's text to ask TER Admin to remove it. You should explain why, eg in this case you already figured out the answer.  Admin may or may not choose to remove a post reported in this way--it's up to them.

As of now, you probably do not have a TER Profile. (Search Reviews for your phone number or email, just to make sure.) Your Profile is created by the first Reviewer when their review is approved and posted.

Once you have a Profile, you request TER Admin ("contact us") to link your handle (victoriamorgan) to your Profile (Victoria Morgan, perhaps?). THEN you will have free limited VIP which includes PM (private mail) privs.

In the interim, you should seriously consider paying for (full) VIP for one month at a time. You can pay using anonymous gift cards. (Buy gift card for cash at local market; upload card numbers to TER's payment system.) The conversion rate varies but it's, maybe, $40 for 34 days or so.

You can check the conversion rates at Paygarden.com.  Target GC might be a better deal than an Omaha Steaks GC.

If things go well, you will have your first review and Profile posted within the first month (or two) so you won't have to keep paying for full VIP.

A month or two of paid VIP will also let you read full reviews of other Providers.  With limited free VIP you can only read your own reviews.

Good luck!
