S,

You and the Colonel sure do get around these boards. I thought I went to the Boston board by mistake. Now make sure you come visit the Phoenix and Vegas boards.

Would you believe some people still think that TER mainly has a presence in the West. We know nothing exciting ever happens on the Boston board. ;)

Hi everyone,

I'm covering Michael's boards for the next couple of weeks while he's vacationing. Because of the time difference, I might be a bit slower than you're used to in getting the moderated posts to the board.

Thanks for understanding.

fellow Beantowner in da house!

now dudes and dudettes, go easy on thirsty, he's lenient and mild-mannered, so don't go tasking him too much ;-)

First COLHOGAN, then singleton, now thirsty... there's a distrubing trend here...

Next thing you know, we'll be discussing where to get the best chowder (chowda), and reading "Go Red Sox" slogans. A guy goes into a bar with a dog.  The Sox's are on TV, and every time they get a hit, the dog goes nuts, yelping and doing flips... the bartender asks the guy what the dog does when the Sox win a game, and the guy replies, "I don't know, I've only owned him for four years"

Truthfully, I've always considered Bostonians to be Philadelphians without the attitude.  Move a Beantowner to Philly, and within six months he's at the Eagles games chucking snowballs at Santa Claus with the best of us!

Eddie, I take it you didn't see the '99 ALCS when that bum umpire Tim Tschida (sp?) blew that call @ 2nd base.  Bostonians were throwing all sorts of things including Coke bottles (Official Drink of the Boston Red Sox) onto the field.

BTW, I'm Chowdahead # FOWA (4) in this place!!!

That reminds me...in Dan Shaughnessy's book, "One Strike Away" about the 1986 Red Sox season, he suggested that it was never the same for the Phillies fans after they won the series (1980?). Part of me doesn't want to see the curse end. What would we complain about?

P.S. Donovan McNabb was "Belichicked" pretty good last week, wasn't he?
