What is your point here???

I had "The Aids nightmare" a few weeks back.  Woke up in a panic, and didn't sleep well for several days.  No real reason for it.  My activities are relatively low risk.  Oral isn't always covered but everything else is.  But being relatively new to the hobby, well, my subconscious took over.

The only things I could do to really release the stress were to limit my hobby activities to massages and get tested.  

Getting tested was hard.  I was pretty damned scared.  Got the results and I am happy to report that I am sleeping well again.  

I will still limit my activities to the lowest risk I can.  The last thing I need this hobby to do is add stress to my life.  

So, for now it's FBSM & Tantra.  At least until temptation gets the better of me.  There are a couple providers I'd still love to see, but I don't know that I'd have the fortitude to tell them no more DATY.

By posting--even including the name as well as the location of the provider--you do a real service to all of us.  Even though it appeared that a previous poster was fraudulently slurring a provider, one shouldn't be shy--at all--about posting who you think gave you STD's.  Like all here, I am sorry for your troubles and hope the cure works.

Always Your Choice is a great discreet little clinic on East 12th right off of Broadway. The guy who runs it is Marc Gossin, he is a completely understanding guy, treats a lot of gay clinets who are HIV+. Decent STD testing is surprisingly expensive though, a basic HIV elisa test is about $100 and that will only tell you if you're making HIV antibodies after 3 months from exposure. The best HIV test will pick up the virus after 1 month from contact, it's called the PCR test, or sometimes called the DNA amplification test, but it is criminally expensive, $500 or the cost of one nice little date. The PCR is considered definitive if its done right, the elisa test is pretty accurate but not good enought for the adult video business after a male porn star infected a half dozen girls with HIV. I look at it this way, the hobby is expensive so go in with your eyes open and be realistic about your health upkeep costs too. There are reckless, unconscious, and just plain stupid people doing it so conduct yourself like you're on the road on new years eve with drunks weaving in and out of fast moving traffic. Would you rather be driving a safe vehicle or a sputtering junker with bald tires ?

There is too much of a chance for a provider to be wrongly accused in something like this. I am in no way saying that Gypsycat is lying or trying to harm a ladies reputation. But unless the lady wants to step up and admit it, I have to allow for the chance that he may be wrong.
