Hello,

I am a booking assistant.  I was wondering if it is possible for me to post an ad for one provider in one city and post another ad for a different provider in a different city during the same week.  Help on this issue would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Phoenix

In fact, a provider can post ads of herself on multiple boards, all in the same week as long as she is definitely planning to visit those cities in the near future.  The salient rule is:  Only once per seven days PER board.

No only should what you describe be fine but I would think posting different ads for different providers in the same city would be allowed as long as you're not violating the 7 day rule for one or both of them.

You very often see agencies post an ad and then reply to their own post multiple times, highlighting a different lady in each reply. (See link) I believe this is because the agency can only have one ad thread per week, per board, so they use that thread the best they can. They do have different rules re how many times they are allowed to reply to their own ad post. Indys get six or seven, I think, but agencies get more. I dunno exactly how many, but the OP can send an email to admin to find out, or PS will be here soon to tell us.

I have never noticed an agency with multiple ads on the same board in a week, but I've seen the expanded thread technique like in the link hundreds of times.

Possibly but seems like it's clear the assistant is regulated under different rules than the indie provider and apparently TER is not telling the general community what those rules are.

May be they can post more than 6 follow-ups but still only the one main post as you're suggesting or maybe the agency simply wants everything under the one heading to clearly show the extent of their offering for advertising purposes. I suspect I'll never know ;-)

But we do have a clear answer to the OP asking about the rules -- Contact TER Admin to get the rules that govern assistants posting ads.

TER Admin added:
"A provider can post 7 'Content' posts in one ad; The original post and 6 replies to that post."
"If you reply to a members comment(s)/question(s) this does not count against you.  However, an AD is not the place to carry out an involved conversation."
"Agencies and Assistants are under different regulations and should contact TER with any questions."

Right on. That's the thread I was probably thinking of, I was just too lazy to look it up, LoL. Good job!

So I think I am pretty clear now that I'm allowed to post and had four different providers on different boards once every seven days. Also, I can post ads for different providers on the same board by replying to the original post on that board.

Thanks,
