It's easier to verify a negative than a positive

Google searching phone numbers and image searching to see if the pics are stolen or shared can help to prove that she is NOT the real deal. Too many names in too many cities is just too suspect.

Can you ever prove that she is 100% real and safe BEFORE you walk thru the door by google and image search alone? I don't think so.

Hello,

How does one go about verifying BP providers?

There are 2 types - some are on TER, so I look for their recent reviews. But what about those who are not on TER? Google phone numbers, look at websites that give sting information based on phone number etc.?

Anything else? Same with ads on other sites Since these local ads have phone numbers etc. i.e so easy for LE to look at them, how do people visit these providers and not get caught? Of course, I'll be staying away till I have all information.

Your gut was telling you right. If you can't verify a BP ad, or any other ad for that matter, simply stay away like you have been doing.

BP is full of stings, rip offs, B&S etc etc etc. and in answer to your question about "not getting caught" the harsh reality is, people get "caught" all the time by not being careful. That's just one of the many reasons TER exists in the first place.

The best advice for newbies especially, is the advice that is posted constantly on this board. "Stick to well reviewed TER providers"

Then the question is - What do people follow while going through BP ads? Same as I did? Google phone number and if busted and stings sites pull up something then run.
What if these 2 sites do not pull up anything? Are there other places one should look at?

I guess I'm trying to find out a working approach for BP. If there is none, then in my opinion BP is useless, but a lot of people claim that they've used BP successfully.

There are many ways to verify if providers are legit. Those sites are the worst way. They have absolutely zero credibility.

People use BP successfully usually as a jumping off point, followed by heavier research elsewhere. Unless they have a lot of experience and can sniff out good and bad providers based on ads alone. But that's Jedi-level hobbying.

Thanks for all your feedback so far and even some PMs that I received. Appreciate that.

I guess I need to continue looking for the right approach to use BP.

An advantage to BP is that I see many providers (within a 10 min commute) when compared to many 411/TER providers that are near Tysons etc. (much much longer commute from me from way west). But since "Safety" is my prime factor (as it is I assume with all of us), if I have to commute a bunch then so be it till I find a relatively safe way to evaluate BP.

Some info that I got was to search for phone number and see if the ads are listed at a few places and if it has same pics etc. I thought the more places you have the same ad, greater are the chances of ad being real. But I think someone else had a different opinion on this. Then look at other review sites.

Take your time when choosing a provider, especially if you lack experience. I would advise you to wait until you find the right one. Don't rush into it.

Use tiney on the pics to make sure they weren't just grabbed off social media.
Many of us girls use burners or google voice, so verifying number is only good to make sure it's not different girls on one phone.
The best way to verify an unknown BP girl : how long has she had ads up, and on how many sites? Do all her ads have the same info?
Also: if she asks leading info, she's either an idiot or a cop. Either is bad. Safe bets are the ones who have a menu so you can see if she provides what you need, that way you never have to ask specifics, she has no reason to ask specifics, and the whole you are meeting at this time, for this amount of time; and time is automatically understood to equate x amount of donation. That way $ is never discussed, and neither are details.
BTW the sting sites suck & are scams. (theres another thread about that somewhere.)
So, tineye, consistency w/posting, same info in the ads, and of course a provider who is smart about her safety is more likely to be smart about your safety.
