END OF MESSAGE

I must've seen it here a thousand times: "you don't have a profile until you get your first review." I saw this profile the day it went up, on the new reviews list. There were no reviews so I filed a PR, which was declined without comment.

Thoughts?

been temporarily pulled. My other thought is the review has been questioned as it authenticity and therefore has been pulled.

Maybe Admin can comment.

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. It's just weird because I check the new reviews a couple times a day usually and I know the profile was there with no reviews in it within a couple hours of the profile itself going up. Pretty quick turnaround if someone had challenged it. I don't think there was ever a review on it. Also, every service category is "don't know". How did this ever go up in the first place? And how do they leave it up for a week after a PR about it?

I'm sure if I filled out a profile like this after a TOFTT, it would not go through, LoL

I mentioned in my other reply that I have a theory as to why there are occasionally profiles with no reviews. However I have never seen a profile with all "don't knows" for services offered. Lots of profiles have many "don't knows" but how can every answer be a don't know? Must be a mistake, but I still don't understand why you didn't follow up your problem report

Hello admin,

Thanks for taking an interest. I put a link in the OP, but the ID is 317485.

Honestly, I filed a PR a week ago which was rejected without explanation so I didn't think you guys gave a damn. Thanks.

In this case, the review was pulled for various reasons, creating an empty profile.  After a period of time empty profiles are systematically delisted, but remain for us in case we get a match in the future.

I always assumed, it meant a new profile was created (along with a new review of course) but shortly after posting the review came into question. Maybe be they need more info. Maybe it's a suspected fake review. Maybe the client needed to edit it as kk suggested. I think they leave the profile up for a little while to see if the review gets reposted, or a new review pops up for the Provider. If that doesn't happen within a certain amount of time then the profile is deleted. My assumption is based on watching a few of these no review profiles. On all the ones I have seen, the profile disappeared within a couple weeks, or a review was added to it. Now that admin has chimed in on this thread maybe we'll get a real answer and see if my theory is correct.

On another note, when you get a problem report rejected with no reason given, you should use feedback to ask TER why it was rejected. (Rather than assume they "don't give a damn"). I have done this many times. Every time, I have either received a satisfactory answer for the rejection or a follow up saying my PR was approved. TER has always replied to my feedback questions. Although sometimes it takes a few back and forth messages, it has always been resolved.

 Thoughts?

Thanks for all your input. All good thoughts. I'll keep in mind what you say about following up a confusing PR outcome with a contact us. Honestly, I always just figured unapproved without a cause given meant we have our reasons and they're none of your business, don't bug us about it again. Though I'm sure now what you're saying is best. Good to know you've always gotten results.

The profile was pulled and my PR has been changed to approved. Thanks, Admin. Should've just done a feedback like PS said, LoL@myself.
