stay in the Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget. It is away from the main casino and crowds, so easy for the ladies to visit. Get a room that does NOT face the Fermont experience if you want to sleep before 3am, because the bands play late and loud. Also make sure you are NOT on the floor (usually 22nd and up) that requires your rood card to access. It makes it difficult for the ladies to just come to your room, so you will need to meet them in the lobby/casino. They have recently renovated, so a couple of new restaurants just opened, which I have not yet tried.
I am planning a trip to Vegas late October around Halloween. I normally stay in City Center. Aria, Vdara,or Cosmo. I have never ventured off the Strip. Any info on Old Vegas in particular the Golden Nugget.
I really enjoy downtown. Fremont street is great for people watching. There are loads of great restaurants and the bet limits on most tables is 5 or 10 dollars. Many of the downtown hotel/casinos have been refurbished, including The Plaza, The D, even the Golden Gate. The jewel of downtown is The Golden Nugget. Everything is cheaper downtown, too. Nightly hotel rates, food, drinks, bet limits. Save those bucks and splurge on a hot, reliable TER girl!

The golden nuggest is good, i would suggest either their new rush towers or their two story spa tower suites.

I usually split my start my vacation at fremont street for a few nights then hit the strip for the rest of my stay.the rush tower is probably the best option downtown. if you hit up the pool make sure you go down the water slide through the shark tank!
All time favorite hotels down town. I love the water slide that runs thru the shark
tank.Downtown has really changed the last few years which is good.Downtown was going a little to the pits.
There is days where I prefer to go downtown then the strip less hustle and bustle spread out and not all in one place like the strip.
