I personally know a few providers who are now in very serious relationships, pregnant or just retired from the business all togeter. Some ladies just take a hiatus for a while or change their names to rebrand themselves. This business can affect your psyche.

I know a few really good highend providers who no longer are on TER, but they are still very active. They have enough clients to be totally UTR and just chose to see a few of their favorite or regular clients.

Finally, I know TER will ban providers for bad or unethical behavior - that could be manufacturing reviews, outing clients or just not adhering to their guidelines.

I've been curious about this because it came up recently in another board where a porn star asked to be delisted. She had reviews and they got removed. And soon thereafter the discussion about said porn star also disappeared. The weird thing is that this provider was still active and even announced on her social media of all places that she would be getting her reviews from TER removed so that she could be more discrete. Since this is a site for folks to share reviews, wouldn't de-listing providers be bad for the folks seeking reviews? That is, couldn't most providers just start asking to be delisted and we'd all lose the benefit of reviews for said provider?

On the flip side of this, I've seen some providers who have requested to be delisted or for a name change but were denied by TER.

As I'm on only one side of the fence, I'm guess there are good reasons for TER to do this. What are the reasons that TER will honor a provider's request to be delisted?

The main subject being if the provider were to be leaving the industry entirely to start a new, civvie-type, lifestyle, away from the hobby. Of course, if the provider were to return to the industry, I believe she can request within a decent amount of time to have these reviews reinstated.

Another, as you already mentioned, is to ad discretion to the providers work. She no longer wanted to be seen or known as a porn star, and was changing her entire image- professionally speaking. Being she is no longer doing the same things, or the exact some type of provider, she will also be granted to start anew.

Lastly, a provider no longer wants to be associated with TER or its likeness. A provider has the choice, if for personal reason or otherwise, they no longer want to affiliate themselves with TER. TER has a very interesting track record, far and few have had problems arise throughout the years- some resulting in very traumatic experiences for providers and clients alike. Don't even get me started on fake reviews.

For me, Id only request my reviews to be removed for two reasons:

1. If I were 100% sure I was leaving the lifestyle
2. I'm having a complete mind and body readjustment and I am no longer the same provider by any means, and I'd like a clean slate.

But for now, I shall keep my reviews, even the not-so-great ones

Most of time professionals leave business always come back to business. Has to start over again without track record...The review you don't like that's client experience with business......A lot of clients don't like to write reviews on sex boards cuz it's illegal business.

connected with bad behavior.

I've known gals to be banned just because they hector TER too much about things like removing reviews they think are fake but TER deemed otherwise.

Outing a client is another reason for banishment.

Sometimes TER will allow a gal back again after being banned, but not always.  The rules are a bit arbitrary
