Hey guys! I'm new and all I've been trying to do is get a review to get more clients. Why is it that every time I post an ad in the provide ad section it get denied. Plus I had two hobbyist to sumbit a review for me and the administration of this sites are telling me I'm doing reviews for myself. I'm just so lost and not happy at all.

Read the top post, TER Instruction Manual or do a search here on the question as it's come up fairly often and one within the past week.

I'm no expert and others will likely jump in (hopefully not with too much correction) but seems like two big issues for new providers are
1) using a link that also offers reviews so is not allowed
2) Not having a link to an ad site or personal web site.

I would think you could check your messages to see what is stated there -- I'm guessing you get some type of response as I do if I have something in a review that the admins consider a rule violation.

If so, that's what is making it so hard.  When a non-reviewed gals gets reviews from first time reviewers, TER takes a very hard look at that.

The answer is to get some TER members with multiple reviews to review you, and to do that, you need to advertise on your local TER Board.  Now, if TER is pulling your ads, you have to find out why.  Read the TER Instruction Manual linked on this page thoroughly, especially the parts on posting ads.

If you still have a problem, ask on here or write to TER directly.

Everyone has some difficulty at first, but eventually most do very well on here

First, click the My TER tab at the top of the page. You will get the "My TER" page. Then look to the left just under the survey question (below the big "Vote" button) see the "My Quick Links" heading. The third item down is a link that says "My Message Boards". Click on that. You will see a list of all your board posts. The subject of your posts will be on the left. Scroll down until you see the subject of your rejected ad posts. Directly under the subject should be an explanation of why your ad was not accepted. If the reason doesn't make sense to you use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page and ask TER Admin to explain. Include a link to the ad for them to see.

Be sure you followed the Provider Ad Guidelines. You can find them in the first post at the top of this board "TER's Instruction Manual" by Board Admin. It's the third link down. "Provider Ad Posting Guidelines" One thing I'll mention is if you are putting your web site link in your ad it must have the TER seal that links back to TER on the first or second page of your site. Your ad won't be posted if it doesn't. You can use a link to your ad on some other site such as Eros, My Provider Guide, etc. You can't post a link to an ad that is on a site which also has reviews. I can't name any examples since they can't be mentioned.

Why does TER think you are self reviewing? If the reviews your clients submitted were written while they were with you (in your apartment, etc.) such that the IP address they logged on from is the same as your IP address that makes TER believe you are self reviewing. You can be banned from the site for that. The clients must do their reviews from their own location. It's best for them to write and submit the reviews after they have left you. mr.fisher is correct that if the reviews your clients submitted were their first reviews on TER they will receive extra scrutiny because you are also new on TER. TER will wait until you get a review from someone else or your clients write reviews of another provider.

Another thing to consider. Being new you are moderated. Everything you post has to be checked by Admin before it goes live. This can take a while and would seem to you your ads didn't post. Later if you check they will have posted.

Read everything in the TER Instructional Manual come here to ask specific questions. We are glad to help. Good Luck and welcome.
