This Saturday I on my way back from New York I stopped by Alpha in Hartford CT...only to find the The Club Closed....I belive Alpha was the the Longest running Massage Palor in New England ,perhaps the Country...from early 1970's to 2003...Does anyone know what happened to this ,legendary Massage Parlor.

So far, I have not been able to find any media links discuusing this topic. A few weeks ago, a few local clients reported the entrance was closed with a notice concerning the "Board of Health." The implication being that it would re-open soon. To the best of my knowledge, there have been no reported arrests. Other info circulated reports that there might be tax (IRS) issues brewing.
While threats of closure occurred in past years based on either arrest or nuisance laws, the establishment was always able to mount a staunch defense and thwarted those efforts. Whatever the cause of this closing, the net effect is the same - closed.
