Correct KK, Perfect Storm is the "Host" of this board, NOT a moderator

I would hate for PS to get a deluge of PM's from members asking him to do things like unmoderate a member or get their posts approved faster or anything else beyond his power to do.

The rest of your advice is spot on however.

Hello All,
I am SassySusan
I am new here and am currently seeking reviews. I posted a ad without any photos. If anyone is willing to help on how I can add photos to my ad it is greatly appreciated.
Also I advertise on several other sites which were denied for adding the links to those specific sites.
Any information on how to gain clients safe but quite fast would also be appreciated.
Thanks again
Have a great day

You can't upload a picture directly from your phone or computer. It needs to be hosted on an image hosting site. Many providers use imagecoast but there are others. You open a free account on the site, upload your pics there, then when you post your ad, you copy the url from the pic at the hosting site, and paste it in the box at the bottom of the post that says "picture url."  You have to delete the http: and the slashes that are already in the box or they will double up, and the photo won't post. Since you already posted the ad, you can post a reply to the ad and post the photo in the reply. You can only post one ad per 7 days, but you can post as many replies to your own ad as you want. Many providers will do that to add several photos or to add more info.

As to links, you can't post links to any site that is a competitor to TER (i.e. Any sites that have reviews.) You can post links to your ad on Eros, slixa, cityguide, citysource, myproviderguide, p411, date-check, and many more. You can also post a link to your personal website if you have one, but in order to do that, your site also must have a link back to TER?

The best way to get known and get reviews is to post your ad every 7 days, on your ad board, introduce yourself on your regional discussion board and join in conversations there, and answer ISOs. Don't make your introduction sound like an ad, and don't post a link or picture in it, or it will get deleted. Ads only go on ad boards. You can however post your link in any reply to a thread (just not a thread starter) and I believe you are required to post a link if you answer an ISO.
You can also post photos on the photo only board.

Since most new providers come on here asking how to post an ad and you actually already posted your ad, you have a headstart and must have already done some digging around and reading. Good for you! If you haven't already, do check out the top thread on this page, the "TER Instruction Manual" and read down this newbie board and back a few pages. That should give you a lot of info on navigating TER. Then come back here to the newbie board and ask any specific questions you might have. There are a lot of helpful people here (and a couple not so helpful but reading down this page and back a few should give you a pretty good idea of who is who ;) )

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks you have answered my questions and described how to ad images. I figured out how to post fairly easy after bothering the contact me representatives a few times. lol.
Thanks everyone.

This bizz is all about marketing. Good luck to you.

by TER staff.  That is all posts are reviewed before displaying.  The delay varies.  Don't let it get you down because you must get a posting history...  a history of following the rules...  after say a month or so & with a posting history, you can request to be un-moderated.
ALL of us went through this.
If you break the rules, your posts can be removed...  or you could end up being moderated again.

Participating on your local board...  gets your name out there (even if your posts are moderation delayed).  As an unknown, people are less likely to TOFTT but this can be offsett by showing you have a good attitude.  I have booked providers... their board participation... was the bump I needed to go see her.
