Hints
1.Avoid any provider if she tells you her sessions are UP TO THE HOUR and also her prices START at X.
2. I avoid providers visiting from the north east USA especially Newyork city and also the Los Angeles area.
3. If I call twice and leave messages and don't get a callback I move on to the next lady.
4. If I call and a guy answers the phone I move on to the next lady. I refuse to see any lady who has a pimp.
5. I will not visit any lady in a rundown part of town.
6. I will not see any lady who speaks ghetto slang either white, black or brown.
7. From my experience GENERALLY strippers make for lousy providers.
8. At any given time there are perhaps a maximum of 6 ladies on criagslist who provide decent to good service. All the rest are not worth it in my imho.
9. Stay away from Quest datelines, it's an adult phone line, free for ladies and guys have to pay. Alot of ladies on this line have substance abuse problems and are street walkers. Avoid at all costs.

Sample size of 1. But I'm batting 100%. She's well-reviewed and I didn't know about the dancing job until after the appointment was made, not that it would have mattered.
Unlike acidom, I did not approach the stripper from the provider end, but the stripper side. I also had a sample size of 1, but she is beautiful, with a killer body, and while it has been rough going, we have been together for more than 10 years.
Have been pretty good. Have never been "ripped off" or gotten someone I had to leave at all. A few have not been worth a repeat visit, but have been satisfactory experiences.
I did find one incredible UTR Asian woman in my area who gives me a great session for $. I have also a woman who gives me an incredible oral session for even less. I call them up, come over, and have a great time.
Like on the newbie board, you need to make sure your BS filter is turned on to high. Be willing to not call someone who looks promising...

Take the money, go to an overpass on any interstate, toss the money in the direction of the wind and help some poor bastard whose down on his luck. It will be money better spent.
I agree with numbnuts be very creful with craigs list but there are alot of great girls on there like my self

10. Any girl that uses the phrase, "I'm really worth it" . . . well, you just have to watch out for. You can tell the providers who really enjoy their work, it shows. YOU should be the one telling her (& the res of us hobbyists) that she was worth it. I'd say be careful because a girl telling you that may be tring to hard sell you.

Take the phone number and do a search for reviews. Also google the phone number. Also pay a background search firm to get real name of the provider and do a background/criminal investigation search. Today I found a provider had a criminal record who was listed on CL. The $50-$100 invested is better safe than sorry. I have heard of some stories where some providers will steal your credit card, etc, identify theft. You also don't want to run into a bait and switch or another scam where you get set to be robbed. If the bad provider knows you are coming with $500-$700 on you she could set you up to get robbed. I also will do a scout type trip where I will investigate the general area where the provider has incall. Best to make sure the area is safe.
A provider with a criminal record? How shocking, say it isn't so. lol I think you have way too much time on your hands.
I will even check the criminal record of a known provider also. Check to see if she has financial problems. I also will scout out incall locations of regular providers also. You can never go wrong with a rehearsal. You don't want to make the wrong turn on a street.
You sometimes have to expect the un-expected with the 2 call system. Sometimes an apartment number is not marked and there is no cell phone coverage.
Other times you have to make a silly u-turn.
Sometimes I will take a few hours on a weekend to find out where potential hotels are for incall or outcall locations near my home, job, or subway stop.
These rehearsals are key so that you arrive on time.
