If you have to travel back and fourth everyday from a hotel to LAS, you might call the local cab companies and ask if you can get a special rate. For that much business, they might be negotiable.

Need to find a good deal on a Vegas Hotel with transportation to and from LAS Airport. I will be spending two weeks so I am trying to find a deal?  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

that are called taxis.  If you can afford to stay two weeks, I don't think an extra $40 is gonna break you.

actuallt it's only $10 to strip, if it's really busy at airport you can book a limo for a little more......

Hey LAPDOG, thanks for the smart A$$ reply!  I need to go back and forth to LAS Daily! So yes it would be kinda steep if I used a Cab everytime. DUH!

If you have to travel back and fourth everyday from a hotel to LAS, you might call the local cab companies and ask if you can get a special rate. For that much business, they might be negotiable.

if you are going to be in town awhile you can get one for next to nothing on a weekly rate and then have it available for going all over.  It can cost close to 25 bucks to take a cab from the lower strip to downtown.  and if you end up running around to strip clubs or other places you will find that an economy car will save you a ton of dough.  and don't worry about looking stupid in it.  think of it like a scooter.  unless you have insurance that will cover you, though, it's not really worth it.  insurance costs a fricking fortune in vegas, because nevada is one of those states that allows the rental companies to charge for time lost if the car is out of service.

So if you're going back and forth daily to the airport, what do you need a hotel for?  To get a free rides and not stay there?

there are also suttle services to and from the airport. Round trip ticket is 9.95 tip extra of course

As far as a deal on a hotel itself, one tool to check out is TravelAxe:
http://www.travelaxe.net

Its a PC program you download and install on your computer (with an internet connection). You then enter your travel dates and it searches for the best deals from a variety of travel web sites.

Its not perfect (I have sometimes found better deals by searching some of the web sites directly), but its a good place to start and the software itself is FREE (the publisher makes money if you book a room through the software).

As far to transport from the airport, in addition to taxis, there are several companies that offer shuttle services:
http://www.mccarran.com/03_Shuttles_01.asp

A word of advise on the shuttle: I would only buy a one-way ticket from the airport. The shuttles have a bad reputation of not showing up on time on the runs from the hotel back to the airport. Might be better off taking a cab on the return.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the help!
