Nothing wrong with sending her an email saying something like "I saw . . .

your ad on ___ website listing $$$ for an hour of your time. Can I assume that is the rate I should plan for?"

Just never mention sex and money in the same sentence (or more).

A provider I am interested in meeting has listed conflicting donation amounts -- website A says x and website B says 1.5x for the same duration of time.  How should I clarify?  I don't want to come off like I'm negotiating -- that is not my intention.  However, I *do* want to be sure to avoid a misunderstanding.  With an eye to reducing the likelihood of LE problems, is it best to ask this kind of question by PM on TER instead of email?

Email the lady with links to the pages that disgreee and ask her to clarify.  The chance that LE is reading your email is beyond remote and if they are, you're already screwed.

Is one of them her personal web site or something like P411?  If so, the content there should take priority over sites that merely skim data from other sites, thus she doesn't control that content and it may be out of date.

If there is a clear difference like this, you could ask her something like, for example, "May I assume the info on your P411 page is up to date?"  That is better IMO than sending URLs in an email.

I do it all the time. Asking isn't negotiating. There shouldn't be any LE trouble so long as there's no discussion of sex acts. So long as you say "How much for an hour?" instead of, "How much for a blow job?" you should be fine.

I always sent everyone to check my website.. whatever is anywhere else on the internet is sometimes what a client may write, or older rates or probably not accurate.

Ladies's website is what you should be following, her rules, etiquette, etc.
