BPS gave VERY good advice

There is nothing wrong with using the boards to get yourself "out there" in the community, but some providers take Fancy's advice literally and become shameless self promoters which hardly endears them to the community.

Many of these self promoting women post what we call threADs, which are thinly veiled ad posts, which often backfire and do them more harm than good, especially when they blatant about the self promotion.

Lastly, it also would also be a great idea to take the advice of BPS regarding Fancy as a blanket policy. Several of us have requested she be banned from the Newbie board.

Hello TER Community,

I am new to the site and just wanted to say hello.  I’ll be spending some time in the self help area getting caught up on posts.  Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

I look forward to getting to know everyone,
Alayna O’She

I suggest you intro yourself on your local regional board as well.  After you have read the self help center, start posting ads on your local regional board, and start participating on the local regional posting also.  In the self help center, you will learn about posting ads and pictures on the photo only board.

LLAP,
Swim

Great! I appreciate all your advice.

the Self-Help Center and several pages on this board as well as your local board.

Remember, whenever you respond to a post (just not starting a thread) you can add a link to your website. This helps guys get to know you, where you are based, etc.

Good luck to you.

Thanks everyone! I'm in the stages of moving from Arizona relocating to Chicago. I'll be posting all my info soon, Eros, P411, DC but wanted to introduce myself. I'm also a very new provider and trying to find links on the best ways to verified/reviewed. I thought maybe going to a meet and greet to introduce myself and hopefully make friends but it's hard to verify you're trust worthy before people know you :)
Are they any recommendations for photographers in Chicago? Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome-AlaynaO'She

Thank You!
Risky business all level escorts gotta eat.Welcome

..."Good place to promote business."  This board is for Newbies to ask questions and learn.  You will soon learn that Fancy has no clue what she is talking about.

You can participate in discussions on your regional board if you have something meaningful to contribute, not just to get your name out there.  And you can post an ad on your regional ad board every seven days.

which means all your posts are reviewed by a Moderator before they display.   It can take minutes to hours...  rarely more.  It is annoying...  because sometimes the conversation moves on before your reply displays.
After some time & a record of board posts following the rules, you can be un-moderated.  If you don't post, you can't earn the unmoderation.  We ALL went through this.

If you break the rules, Moderation can be reinstated.  Also there is some random moderation which tests samples of posts...  I don't know what triggers it.

I urge you to participate on your local board, if you feel you have something to add to the conversation.  People will get to know you & makes 'US' more likely to take a chance of seeing you.

Please do read the self help section & read back on this forum.  Once you are up to speed, bring any questions back to the forum.

I appreciate everyone's advice. I'm still going through the self help AND in process of moving (sighh) I'll be in Chicago this week :) being moderated doesn't bother me, they "mediators"  are just doing their jobs.

Thanks Again,
Alayna O'Shea
