I'm a new provider on here and I'm having trouble getting started .. how do I become a verified member ? Do I need to purchase the VIP thing? Someone please give me a hand here 😢
From all I read you can buy a VIP membership to TER via credit card, gift card and paypal. As far as becoming "verified" I'm assuming you mean post your website on TER?? Under the guidelines I believe it was you need 1 review in order to be listed on here as a provider. I'm new so could be wrong, but this is what I read in site map for all newbies... It's a lot of helpful information and you'll need to set aside long lengths of time, or not. Hope this helps

Go to the home page of any discussion board. (At the bottom of this post is a blue "Back to Forum" button which brings you to the top/home page.) Look for the red and white life preserver near the top right. Underneath that is a link to "Self Help Center". It's a lot of reading, but you'll find a lot of info. Go back and refer to it for details, as needed.
VIP is not required to participate at TER. Personally, I would recommend that you try it out for a month or two to see if it's useful to you. You will get PM (Private Message privileges), access to all Profile reviews, and so on. In the early going, PM will be very useful. You can pay for VIP using anonymous Gift Cards (e.g., $30 Target Gift Card is redeemed for ~30 days of VIP.)
When you get your first approved review, that will also create your Profile. That is what I think you mean by "verified." You do not create your Profile, your first reviewer submits all the info with his review and, once approved, the Profile goes up with your TER ID number and your first review.
Once you have a Profile, you can ask TER Admin to link your handle (Brittanybenji) to Profile, whatever name that might be (Britt? Brittany? ??). Brittanybenji is your HANDLE. Britt(? or whatever) is your Provider name / Profile name. IT CAN TAKE A WHILE TO GET YOUR FIRST REVIEW. Hang in there!
Once your handle and Profile are linked, the "See my TER reviews" link shows up under your handle in your posts AND you will get free, limited Provider VIP which includes PM privs.
You should read the boards for a while to get the flavor of the postings and personalities of the frequest posters. Check out your local board, especially, and contribute when you can, so people will get to know you a little bit better.
You can post an AD to your local ad board once every 7 days. You can post a PHOTO ONLY to the Photo Only board daily. (Read all the rules.)
