If you are concerned that someone is getting too clingy or attached, you should keep their messages. You might have to take legal action if you get stalked or harrassed... & those records are vital to ID the person. I think it is polite to decline their advances or appointments... but having made the decision, it's no longer up for debate & it's time to 'go dark' (not reply in any way).
Hello, so I'm fairly new to this and I've never submitted anything to a discussion board but I need help/advice and I'm hoping someone can give me advice. So I've always prided myself with treating everyone I encounter with respect and kindness which is why people have always written good reviews about me since I've started but recently someone left a review about me that is nothing but complete lies. This person did this because I refused to see him after he acted psychotic and treated me with complete disrespect by calling me names among other things for no reason other than he has a drug problem & isn't completely right in the head. The problem is he wrote a review saying I have a pimp and he was thrown out my room and never got to see me which are complete lies. On his way to see me he disrespected me over the phone which is when I told him I would no longer meet with him. Either way we never met then he leaves this review. I've already contacted the support team and the man who left the fake review but is there anything else I can do? This guys ruining my otherwise perfect history of reviews as well as my reputation. Also, why is it that clients can leave reviews about providers but providers can't leave reviews about clients when they've done wrong by them to warn other providers ? This is just not fair. 2) Getting TER to take down a bad review is tough. First of all TER wants to have as many reviews in its database as possible, so the bar is high. You will need to produce substantial and credible proof the review is false. But if you do, there's a good chance they'll remove it. It also depends on the reviewer in question's credibility.
Yes I immediately contacted TER and notified them and have been corresponding with them for nearly two weeks since the review was posted. They told me to PM the guy and ask him to remove the fake review which I've already done. Of course this person has failed to even respond to my message or me asking him why he'd leave these horrible lies about me. I've had a stalker the last few months I've been avoiding because after only two sessions he kept calling and texting me 50+ a day and sending me messages about how he was in love with me and jealous that I see other clients (he's married with kids BTW) . He's begged me for months to see him and I've refused and completely ignored him and now I'm 99% sure he's the one who left this review but of course because the situation he claims happened didn't happen I'm not even sure who this guy is or if I've ever actually met him in person or not or if he's just someone bitter that I won't or wouldn't meet him. I've never taken ANYONES money or had anyone in my room when I was with a client ever so how am I even supposed to know who this liar is? I'ts just so frustrating that clients can write reviews on providers but providers aren't allowed to comment or tell their side or write a review on a client when a client has crossed the line and violated or disrespected a provider. Seems to me that TER doesn't seem to give a shit about us providers, our reputation or our safety. They are only concerned about voicing the clients side of a story without letting a provider inform people of her side. It's just not right.

I wish I could stop worrying about it but I can't because it's been affecting me and my business all week. People have been scheduling and flaking or cancelling after reading my reviews because of this review. Clients don't take kindly to being robbed or girls with pimps so for someone to say those things about me it is affecting me. I've never robbed anyone in my whole life. People feel like I'm unsafe or like I'm going to have my pimp take their money and throw them out which is absolutely ridiculous. If the guy just said I sucked at my job I wouldn't care and your right people would most likely take a chance on me anyway but when people think I have a pimp and I'm a rob they aren't going to even consider seeing me so it really is a problem and it really is affecting me that this degenerate drug addict made up these lies about me. It makes me look unsafe.
As others have mentioned you need to contact to TER adm. use the contact us feature and explain what happened. Your other 3 reviews are good and the reviewers have a decent past in writing reviews.

You may have to address this bad review with any potential new client. Explain your story like you did hear and see what happens. If I read it correctly, he claims he was upsold when he got there, by her I am presuming, and then she called her "boyfriend" who took his money and kicked him out. So according to his review, there was an actual meeting.
I do find it curious that this appears to have happened to this reviewer before, as one of his earlier reviews reads almost exactly the same.
As I said, she has the ring of truth to her side of the story. but you just never know what admin will do.
It sure seems possible. I'm hoping TER looks into this guy! :-/ Also the fact that the reviewer asses in info about a pimp to me makes it even more harmful.

The OP has already alluded to the fact it IS causing her problems, there is no guesswork about if it "might" cause her problems, it already is. The accusation of a pimp is a tough one to get around without a LOT of evidence to the contrary. It's just like guys avoiding AMPs because of the bullshit about human trafficking, it most definitely impacts their business and to make matters worse, even people here regurgitate the bullshit, not wanting to "take the chance" No one likes a pimp, so even the off chance that she "might" have a pimp can be enough to make many guys take a pass on her.
Lets say even one or two potential clients a week take a pass on her over this, she is hardly a "high volume" provider at this point, It could have a devastating impact on her income if she doesn't get it fixed.

Ashley I have to be the one who is honest with you. That view is a huge red flag I live in phx and I have seen your profile before, but now with that review I don't think that I would take the possible chance that it is correct. It also is a hard thing because the reviewer who posted the bad review has a lot of reviews so some may think that he is the most credible out of them, but he has no whitelist showing that can be a red flag on this part as well for me. If this didn't happen Im sorry and I hope you can get this removed and business picks up for you.

Because some liar possessive stalker fell in love with me after two visits and wanted more than I was willing to offer him he decided to try and make people not want to see me by WRITTING these lies about me because he's mad I won't have a monogamous relationship with him and be his gf. I'm an ESCORT not a dating website I'm not looking or wanting a relationship and because he was now I've got to deal with new clientele being scared to see me. It's just not right that one jerkoff can write a review about a girl and the girl is never even allowed to respond to it. There are liars on both sides of the bed here and Admin has to make the determination as to which of you is the most credible. Anything you can provide to them to prove your side of the story will help. Especially if you have anything from him showing you had seen him before.

If you have any regulars, you might consider seeing them and having them post positive reviews for you. While I'd agree with Azdesert as to being concerned about the (very) negative review, I'd also suggest that it can be countered by a few positive reviews that are more recent. I'm a huge fan of this site, or at least the idea of it. For me, the reviews give me peace of mind that I'm meeting with someone who is legitimate; they aren't using someone else's pictures, they aren't 50 when the ad says 30, they aren't 200 pounds when the ad says 120 pounds, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. That said, if I see one or two bad reviews mixed in with a dozen positive reviews, I won't give the one or two review a lot of weight. Good luck!
but also, new reviews or re-reviews (no free days for the reviewer & their old review will come down) will quickly show the review to be false. You have few reviews so far so this is more difficult but an occasional outlier is to be expected in this most personal of interactions between 2 unique individuals. Experienced hobbiests understand about outliers... they might question it but we DO know.
If they never met, it shouldn't be up. Period.
Ashley - my strong recommendation is to re-brand now while you are still new. You are HOT and your rates should be higher, this attracting a better clientele. Start at an hour, no 30 min appts.
Get some new pics (candids are okay to start) but I would also love to see a few professional ones of you. Then see the money rolling in from clients that don't stalk/fall in love with you/know their boundaries.

Totally agree with this - what I didn't know when starting out is that low rates, for whatever reason, attract both awesome clients and fucking scary, unhinged clients. With my rates raised, I've only had an issue with one client in the last few months, whom I politely asked to leave and he did accordingly.
In addition, half hour clients always annoy me/cause me trouble. I don't know why.
I've never rebranded, but considering you're just starting I'd recommend it as well. When you're new, people especially want to see you. That's how I got like 30 reviews in 6-ish months.
If it were up to me, TER would let you have one review removed per calendar year; one that was fake or that you considered particularly unfair. But alas, I'm not working for TER.

Another strategy I've seen is go to your regional board and post something like "LOL look at my revenge review" and just make fun of it, that way people see it's not true and that you have a sense of humor about it.

good luck with this uphill battle. This is a conversation we have all had in one form or another about the bottom feeders that manipulate this system to take out on the providers all their resentment and issues with their mommies and other women. This is. Not. a new story.
In the meantime, make sure you get his name and TER ID and any other identifying info you have on that pile of human garbage and put him on EVERY blacklist run by providers you can find. We may not have a two-sided review system here but we do try to keep tabs on the damn sociopaths out here up to no damn good.

This may be of use going forward, but does not help your present situation. Actually you have 2 good reviews, not close together. the #3 review is strange. the #4 is hating on you. You are hot... you would not have much to lose by rebranding.
