Even though it appears to be her personal website, she may not have any control over it. Maybe she can't shut down the website, but she doesn't want to be associated with it. In that case she can ask TER to remove it from her profile.
This is actually common as there are companies out there that create websites for providers by using pics and info they find off other sources like ads. Some of these are done without the provider's knowledge or approval. Some providers once they discover these websites have embraced them as a form of free advertising. Others have detested these "fake" websites since they had no say in creating them and usually have no control over them.

Just noticed that one provider's personal website got removed from the profile here ( shows n/a), but actually the website is still existing. Is it fishy?

Thank you!

Websites are just annoying to keep up with . I didn't renew my subscription and found
that I was fine without advertizing. Hope that answers your question in part

Hi, Thank you for the reply. I am a newbie, I never knew you need to pay for the subscription in order to keep the personal website there so we can see it.

A provider does not need to pay for a VIP membership here to have a profile listed on TER including a link to her website.
She can be a free member here and have a profile with her website link.If her website link was on her profile and then the link was removed from her profile. It could be because she does not have a ter logo prominently displayed on her website that could be a reason for the link to be removed here but the website is still accessible. No reason to be nervous about that.

However, your info is incorrect on this post. A provider needs the TER logo on their website only in order to post a link to their personal website on ads and board posts. They do not need a TER logo to have their website listed on their review profile, and the absence of the TER logo/link, is not a reason for the website to be removed from the profile.

TER does NOT charge any kind of fee for providers to be listed here, or for their websites. Websites themselves of course do need to be maintained, apparently maintaining her website was more trouble than it was worth for Angela. I doubt that most other providers or their clients would agree with that sentiment however.

Most likely Imposter is correct though, If a provider lets her site go down and someone files a problem report on it, her profile will not reflect the fact that it is back up again until somebody else files a new report showing her site is active.

If you want to earn yourself a couple of free VIP dates, simply go back to her review, click on "report a problem" toward the top of the page and then report her website is active along with the URL.

A lot of people never pay for VIP here by filing problem reports, I have almost three years banked after getting bored one week and filing a BUNCH of problem reports. lol

Providers don't have to subscribe to a paid TER I meant a subscription to a website domain  which I probably should have noted .I thought you were asking why you do not see website profiles on here.  So sorry I thought I made myself clear. My subscription to my web domain never renewed. Therefore you won't see a website. I had assumed you were asking why you don't see websites in profiles. Sorry if I unintentionally misled you .

Without specifics, it's hard to know what happened. Do you mean PERSONAL personal (www.hername.com) or personal at an ad site (hername.escrotads.com)?

1. TER has strict rules about postings and references on the TER site. At one time, a well known ad site started adding reviews to their site. TER bans any mention of such a competitor so those URLs got removed from Profiles. (Very quickly, another website started harvesting Provider ad info and created an ad site that COULD be listed on the Provider Profiles. There are still some remnants of that today.)

So ... sometimes a Provider has multiple websites and ads. The Reviewer only adds her "competitor review site" URL. It gets noticed and deleted.

2. If her website was down for some reason, just temporarily, it might have been reported as defunct or no longer in service. That gets it deleted. Soon after, her page is active again and you can see it. You can try submitting a Problem Report with the now working URL and see if TER puts it back into her Profile.

3. Sometimes, a Provider changes her personal website and doesn't plan for redirecting traffic. www.hername.com is abandoned and her new site is www.misshername.com. Once again, try submitting a Problem Report with the new URL.

She was involved in redoing her website and for that time, it was unavailable.

Along comes an avid free-VIP monger, finds the website is down, and reports it.  In the meantime her website comes back up, and she is, as yet, unaware that TER has removed the link from her profile.

She ought to be notified

I was just pointing out the scenario that nobody else had brought up earlier.
