Read the self-help center. Go to any board home page (e.g., click on big blue "Back to Forum" button at the bottom of this post; at the top of the home page, look for the red and white life preserver; underneath that is the "Self-Help Center" link).

Self-Help has the rules and regs for posting your picture daily to the Photo Only board (free advertising!) and for posting ads to your local Ad Board (once every 7 days; free ad!).  How to post pics and ads? That's a whole 'nother set of FAQs!

After you have read the boards for a while (1-2 weeks?), post to your local board and to other forums (General) so people will get to know you and your personality. Get to know some of the "characters" on the boards from their posts before engaging.  

If you have already started seeing gentlemen, you can ask them to submit a review to TER. Depending on your locale and where you advertise (BP, CV, personal website), many guys you meet might have never even heard of TER so they won't know unless someone tells them about it
