What is the right way to find out whether a certain service is available when the profile says "Don't know" for that item? As I understand it, the first reviewer largely shapes the profile so one could read through every other review to see if the service was mentioned but what if it was not or there are way too many words/reviews to scan. I think asking the provider is frowned upon and may result in termination of conversation. How to deal with this situation?

Probably the easiest way is to PM some of the guys and ask them if they did "it" whatever it is your looking for, also ask the guys if she has any other boundaries you should be aware of.
If she is not well represented on TER or familiar with TER workings, asking such a Q is more trouble than it is worth
