So one of my favorite friends is suddenly lusting after a Tesla Roadster (Yes, I know that they're no longer in production--and No, even I'm not enough of a SD to go and just gift something like that to someone).

I did think the next best thing would be to rent one for a day.  I've looked around, and it seems like the Roadsters are more or less unavailable--all the luxury rental places are only offering the "S" model.  The lady wants a convertible, what can I say?

Anyone have any leads?  Thanks.
