I`m just about ready to join P411 and I`m reading  horror stories about it, anybody else?

Hi there so im a new provider in RI and i am interested in posting an ad on the new england ad board  i have seen most providers are using their website in their ad postings and well i dont have a website i am very new to the scene and i have put my first ad up and am wondering if i can link to my ad on another site in my ad posting on the new england forum? I have read all of the newbie posts and the self help forum but am still unsure about posting because i dont want to violate or break any rules. Also i cant seem to find my profile but i think its because i have yet to be reviewed. Can i still post an ad in the new england ad forum and libk to my ad from another site? Also if there are any pointers or advice i am 100% willing to listen. Thanks and please be nice and remeber everyone is new at one point whether past or future. If i am doing something wrong by posting then please say so! This way i can learn and fix what i need to in order to make things right again! Thanks again

Nadia

Can I link to my ad on another site in my ad posting on the New England forum? = Yes you can link your ad from another ad forum as long as that ad forum does not also have reviews. If it has reviews then TER will not allow it.

You are correct. You don't have a profile because you have not been reviewed on TER. You can still post an ad on the New England ad board even if you have not been reviewed on TER. = Once a guy has seen you, written a review of you, submitted it to TER, it's been approved, and posted you will have a provider profile page. Your first reviewer creates this profile when he fills out your information. You will then be assigned a TER provider ID number. It will be on the upper left of your profile. (You can contact TER and correct anything the guy got wrong or didn’t know on your profile.) Now you can contact TER and request they connect your newly created profile with your TER handle/user name (NadiaaMariexoxo). Contact them using the e-mail you signed up with. Their address is [email protected]. (If you like you can use the “Contact Us” link instead. It’s at the very bottom of any page.) This will give you the free limited provider VIP membership. It will also give you access to the TER PM (private mail) system and allow you to read your reviews in there entirety. TER will place a link which says "See my TER reviews" under your handle whenever you post on a TER board. Guys can click the link and be taken to your profile page and check you out. The provider VIP will also give you access to the provider functions on TER such as being able to white list clients.  There is a Provider's only discussion board. You have to have 3 reviews and establish yourself on the boards then request that TER give you access to it.

There is a link below from the Self-Help Center which will help you with posting ads.

Hope this was helpful and welcome to TER.

One other bit of information is your posts on any board right now are moderated. TER admin has to check them and approve them before they show up (post). Every new TER member goes through this. After you have posted on the boards for a while you can contact admin using "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page and request to be un-moderated.

Welcome Naddia, I am a newbie as well from Boca Raton. You can post an ad on the ad boards every seven days. It doesn't matter whether you have reviews or not. It will let you post it and you can include the link to your site. Remember what day you post it as you are only allowed to post an ad every seven days. I am learning as well :) I wish you much success in this new chapter...hugs.

Thank you so much everyone for such throughout awesome answers! I dont have a P411 but hopefully will soon! Its awesome to hear theres a provider only forum. It seems like a great way to talk to others and learn helpful things! Im glad i introduced myself! Its pretty cool that they give providers the vip option.

HI NadiaMariexoxo,

Thanks for posting this thread up. I'm a newbie on TER as well. Still learning the ropes but eventually getting there.

I got my website for free from CV. They have offer a free website generator called OMG Maker. It's all templates and easy to insert pictures- no coding necessary :) When you do post on the TER ad board, be sure to include the TER banner or else it will be taken down. I just found out and corrected this right away. Be sure to check your Board Posts to see if your post went through.

Good luck and happy hobbying!

So many outlets for providers to advertise and "certify"/legitimize their practice. It's a bit overwhelming. I know you can't get P411 unless you have a TER review up. Ugh. It's like the chicken and the egg- which comes first? I don't have either now but I want to make a souffle, damn it!

I think patience is key. Someone will eventually review you/me on TER. Then you must get a provider number and move over to the Providers only board to access more information on how to conduct your business successfully. I'm confident that I will be reviewed soon. I hope you will hang on and give it some time.

This is one of the best decisions I made in terms of employment. I'm not one to just give up quickly and go quietly into the night!

Best of luck and happy hobbying to you all :)
