Not sure if I understand what IP you saw hit you.  However, if the IP was a 10.x.x.x, a 172.(16-31).x.x or a 192.168.x.x then the IP you saw was a standard "private" IP address that is used by everybody in the world.  These addresses cannot be routed through the internet but it could have shown up in a header somehow.

The linksys routers come with a 192.168 IP scheme by default unless you change them. Not sure if this answers your question based on the information you provided?  I realize you didn't want to disclose the IP's internal to your network.  Just wanted to point out that the same internal private IP's are used all over the world.

But how did they link to my site thru 192... etc  etc

Not sure that they really did.  A lot depends on how you get to it.  If you have to go to a main address of your service provider and log-in to one of their servers you are inside their network and can access private network addresses.  The 192.168 addresses cannot be used on the internet.  The tech stuff might put everybody to sleep but the bottom line is that you weren't hacked.

Apparently i wasnt hacked..
I meant.. someone spying on little ole charming me?

But I've been looking at you for months.  I'd guess that was Junior that was peeking out from behind the couch.
