That's really kind, thank you!

From someone I don't recall at all, not that I would know him behind the name "Raredragon." I pm'ed him to ask for some identifying information. All of my reviews have been good so far and now this. I'm pretty discouraged, and not sure what to do about it, and I don't recall this session at all. Maybe it's fake? I haven't been doing this very long and no one has expressed any dissatisfaction to me. Any advice is appreciated

Anyone that can read will recognize right away that this review sticks out like a sore thumb amidst a fairly healthy number of much better reviews.

From what I've read on the various boards, getting a review changed or removed is quite a hurdle to jump, but I suppose you can try. I do believe the burden of proof is on you as far as whether you saw him or not.

Personally, I would ignore such a review as it's just so different from the others.

How could she prove she did NOT see him?

She can report the review and say that the session never occurred. What should happen then is Admin will contact the reviewer and ask for evidence that the session occurred.  It could be an email with the provider for example.  The problem is, I have heard of cases where the reviewer was given a long time to respond.

The advice about one outlier is good.  A single bad review among many good ones tends to be disregarded.

ok I looked at her ads and her other reviews. To me she looks solid. Good reputation and attractive. She is from NYC and her prices are inflated like most NYC providers (not uncommon. not complaining. just stating a fact. most new yorkers will tell you nyc rates are inflated. just the nature of the beast)

The reviewer: has a ton of reviews under his belt. Seems solid as well. His reviews are overall "shitty" to say the least. If the OP would have seen the hobbyist history of his reviews prior meeting him, she probably would have avoided seeing him altogether because he looks like a poor reviewer.

My personal opinion is: The OP is gorgeous and i dont think a bad review (the review per say is not bad. it just seems the guy was expecting a victoria secrets model for such rate). She has since, gotten a few reviews outlining how gorgeous and good provider she is. I would just say let the other reviews speak for themselves. I had this happen to me a year ago or so. I just buried it with other reviews.

Sorry you feel discouraged. I think your rep precedes you and you have nothing to worry about. xoxo

You called it a "super nasty review".  I didn't read it as NASTY at all ... and I have read really nasty.

He was almost apologetic about the chemistry being off! Many of us have had the "bad chemistry" dates. We don't like it but we know from the other reviews that our failure to get a 10 experience is a fluke or that something is out of the ordinary.

I was going to add that even his insults were polite! But there weren't any insults!

Please don't be discouraged. Don't let one review or one set of non-10 numbers throw you off. People who READ and just don't skim the numbers will know that was an outlier.

...grade inflation, a 6/7 is a low score, but the review itself was not nasty.

I think the guy was disappointed in her looks and that was reflected in his review.  Her TER profile lists her build as "Baby Fat."  He probably was expecting her to look like she does in her photos but maybe she looks more like her description in her profile.  Just sayin.  And when you're paying NY prices, your expectations are higher.

I have seen a lot of women on TER listed as "baby fat" and baby fat "usually" means a shamu vs an orca. The pics of the OP depict a woman that by TER standards can't be described as any bigger than "average" at most. Perhaps the build "baby fat" is more accurate than the pics and that accounts for the reviewers disappointment.

For the record, I don't find the reviewer in question "that" harsh. I wish more reviewers would have the courage to "tell it like it is", but they do so at their own peril as what Sasha said above is true. MANY providers won't see a guy with a review history like his. I think that's a shame as reviews are written for the GUYS, not as advertisements for the women. This site was NOT created to be an ad venue for the women, it was created so the GUYS could share information and not get ripped off.

As for the OP, she will survive, she has plenty of high scores to offset this one soso review and as long as she continues to get high scores this one will get ignored by 95% of her potential clients.

OK, I simply have to say this, even though this is the Newbie board where we are supposed to be "nice" but at the rates the OP is getting, I think this review might give me second thoughts about seeing her. By her pics she is right on the outside of my height/weight limits, if I thought the camera might have shaved off 10-15 pounds, No way would I consider her at any price, much less the lofty rates she presently commands. Just sayin...

Personally, I think your best bet is to do the best you can as a provider and let the chips of TER scores fall where they may.  Hopefully over time things even out in the wash.  Take a look at some of the top providers with a lot of reviews and you'll find that most of them have a couple of mediocre or bad reviews.

The TER scores and reviews can provide valuable feedback to providers.  But you have to take them with a grain of salt and sometimes you just have to ignore some of the outliers.  Which is what most of the clients do.  No provider can please everyone.  You might think you could please everyone that saw your pictures/video online and booked with you, but you'd be wrong.  Some guys are idiots, book with providers that "aren't their type", and then proceed to have a lackluster experience and punish the provider (unfairly) with a bad review.  And given enough reviewers, you will probably get at least a couple that you just can't make happy.  There is no pleasing some people.  The old motto "the customer is always right" is not really true every time.  Sometimes the customer is an idiot and you just have to ignore them and move on.

Just to put a fine (and personal) point on this, you were actually on my short list of potential providers for the next time I'm in NYC.  I read that review.  It does not affect my opinion in the least.  You are still on my short list of potential providers for the next time I'm in NYC.

If he gave out all high scores then yours would really stick out. I'll be nice and say he's an erratic reviewer or he's erratic in how he chooses who he thinks he'll have the best time with, or both.

Everyone lady know, including myself feels like you're feeling when you get that first upsetting review. I'm sure right now you don't even like looking at your reviews because of "that one" sticking out as so different and he was fairly unflattering. Looking at the content of his other reviews he seems like a pretty cut and dry kinda reviewer. Has he responded to you inquiry?

This ain't the Ladies Board so there's only so much I'm going to say here about the review. Bottom line you have many outstanding reviews so it's not going to hurt your biz IMO. Now your feeling/pride? That's another matter. Now go  knock another guy's socks off and try and forget about that one sub par one. I know, easier said that done but don't let his numbers or the unflattering things he said stay with you. I've been right where you are right now many years ago.

Steph xoxo

Always click on the reviewer's history and see what kind of reviewer they are.

Some are like that hated old fart teacher back in school days who thought giving a C meant you did real well.  So, if he gives a gal who normally gets between an eight and a ten, a six, and six is about his average score, you'll know for sure that there's no reason to blackball the gal.  And, of course, read the review.  In the current example, the reviewer confesses that his lack of total enjoyment is as much his fault as hers.

Thanks for a great post Stephanie

Client paid for her time and the clients has the right to write his experiences on review..Why she freaking out so bad to make topic about it?

...even if it were, every provider has outliers in her reviews. You can't expect 10s across the board. All the guy said was that it was a mediocre experience, that he expected something more for the price, that there wasn't chemistry, and that you looked skinnier in your pictures. That's not a big deal, believe me.

I don't know how other people score, but a 6 is not that bad for me. 6s are supposed to be "nice," aren't they? It's not as if he said your were plain or ugly.

You look beautiful, by the way, and your other scores look good. So I wouldn't worry.

Don't worry about one bad review, which really didn't seem that bad actually, like he said, maybe there was just no chemistry there.
