Hi London,

Your gift card probably wont work because of a few things... Firstly, it needs to be an international card... best luck to you :) follow TER guidelines and exactly which "gift" cards they allow. Hope this helps

London,
I don't see Target as one of the gift cards you can use. I think you will need to get one that is on the list to do it?

I think the gift card exchange / monetization companies adjust quickly to supply and demand. Maybe they are just flooded with Target GCs right now or maybe the regular market is flooded with discounted Target GCs (so they can't resell very many).

If you are really stuck with a Target GC, maybe you can check back every few weeks to see if there's a change. Looking at other GC trade-in sites, it looks like Target is not one of the most popular or highest value pay out GC.

Nope ... I'm wrong. Here is the (partial? complete?) list of brands accepted by paygarden.com
http://www.paygarden.com/brands  No Target.

However, their FAQ says: http://www.paygarden.com/faq/customers/which-gift-card-to-buy

Q:  Which gift card should I buy to make sure it works with PayGarden?
Get an electronic gift card instantly for use with PayGarden:
Buy a [Target.com e-gift card] (email delivery) [hot link]

Q:  Why is PayGarden not accepting my gift card?

Q:  Do you accept "e-gift cards"?
We accept most e-gift cards, particularly Target and Best Buy.

Next time, ask for a GC from Omaha Steaks. :-)

I had the same issue with a Best Buy card recently. I contacted customer support of the third-party vendor, and they indicated it was a technical issue and should be resolved soon. Sure enough, a couple of days later, Besy Buy was back on the list of options.

you are not able to use any kind of GC to purchase VIP service. You will have to use a credit or debit card. They also have the option to send in a MO. I would contact admin to double check.

I truly had no idea that this was an option that TER offered. So sorry for not doing research regarding the post.

Thank you xyz23

The vendor handling this for TER is Paygarden.  According to this FAQ at
http://www.paygarden.com/faq/customers/international

Q:  Do you accept gift cards from non-US countries (such as Canada or Australia)?

PayGarden is integrated with USA gift card networks. Some international brands use the same network and therefore work with PayGarden, but this is on a brand-by-brand, country-by-country basis.

The only guaranteed way to know if we’ll accept your gift card is to type the number in to the payment form and receive an offer. If you have an international gift card and are wondering if PayGarden will accept it, just type it in. Your gift card will not be impacted unless you accept the offer

I tried using Target/Walmart store gift card and keep getting error that the card number I entered was 16 digits and the system expects only 15 digits. Could you please check your gift card number and see how many digits it has? Which gift card did you buy and where i.e in the U.S. or outside U.S.?

Thanks
