As I mentioned I was stood up twice by a well known porn star who has pretty good reviews. She is my all time favorite and I really want to meet her.
What do the experienced members of this board suggest, should I just move on or should I try again. I am hoping for third time is a charm kind of thing.
It has now been 2 times that I have been stood up by a porn star who has very good reviews. Twice I gave a deposit and I have to say she behaved very professionally as she returned the deposit.
I was just wondering if this happens frequently or I only have had bad luck.

The ladies that post here are so considerate and professional when it comes to exposing us hobbyists but if they were not, you would be reading post after post of hobbyists that stood them up.
I guess if goes with the society we live in were we don't care of the others and if we do not show up, we think that it does not matter because others would substitute for us.
Fortunately, I do not give deposits and have not stood up anyone either.
The only lady that has stood me up is Tami Monroe, but at last she called me back and explained what had happened.

I think it happens more than anyone wants to talk about. I've been stood up twice by Tami Monroe. Once a no show no call and once a call an hour before the app. time. Goes with the hobby.
you have to remember you are not dealing with responsible business people as if you were scheduling appointments with true professionals. These ladies are unreliable and they don't do this out of want but rather need. Holly Body has to be the biggest flake of all time when it comes to being stood up.

He is wrong most of these pornstars are very professional there may me a few that are not but you shouldn"t condem the entire porn star community
as long as you got your deposit back with an apoligy then move on and dont book with here again

I don't totally disagree with LOTR, but I don't totally agree with him either... there are MANY PSE's out there who have proven themselves to be professional and reliable... Kathy Willets, Sara Jay and Candy Cotton come to mind... you csan feel confident that if you send them a deposit, they'll always show up as expected or if unforeseen cirmculmstances occur, promptly refund your deposits...
It's a two way street. Many PSE's now require deposits because they've been stiffed by a lot of guys. There are definitely a number of wanna-be's who book appointments with the ladies with no intention of ever keeping the date... but by booking, they get to talk to her on the phone and fulfill a small part of their fantasies... there's a name for those kind of guys... LOSERS
The key is to do your homework, check the boards and ask questions... you should be able to find out who is reliable and who isn't
Fast Eddie, you have a very strong argument because of the ladies you have listed that have shown to be very reliable, including Keisha, but as you know they are the minority. In my case if I ever flew someone in, the ticket I paid would be my deposit. If they are in my city touring, I would call for a last minute appointment hoping there is availability and they are willing to meet me without a deposit.
I am kind of paranoiac when we talk about my hard earned money, the reasons why I have not seen that many Pornstars.

I have been fortunate and done my homework and seen some great ladies.That being said this business is notorious for flakes,it happens all the time on Porn sets so why wouldnt it happen in private sessions ? I would say do your homework and dont send a deposit....
I would have to comment on this. I am 100% professional be is a Sex Professional or a business professional To ME it all goes hand in hand. Now dont get me wrong, Not ALL of the women in this business take it as such. I think its only fair that you do understand that it does go both ways, i have had people make an appointment, and then 1/2 hr before the meeting call to confirm and then no show, explain that? It wastes my time and takes away time when i could have been making someone else happy. I just wanted to say my peace, thanks and take care
I've not met Sam yet but I can attest to her professionalism.
I've found her to be excellent in her e-mails and phone calls. She's truly on top of her scheduling and is flexible.
