dressed & undressed...  taken in total, I know what she will look like naked.  Guys are SO visual.   Need to be accurate...  if you've gained or lost weight, you probably need new pictures.  This is your big change to sell your services...  don't cheat yourself with second rate pictures.

Hi!  Kinda new at this so I hope it's okay if I ask this here...

What sort of photos do you prefer to see when you are looking at girls' ads and websites?

Would you rather see professionally photographed and well edited photos?

Amateur type stuff?

Mostly selfies or super casual snapshots?

I'm assuming that maybe a mix of all of the above is the best way to go but would be curious as to what others think.

Thanks in advance for your ideas ;)

PS - If anyone knows of a studio in the area that has different sets and can usually rent them out on a somewhat short notice I would love to hear about them

Candids.  Pro photos are great too, but since they're typically already on the website a fun candid/selfie on here is nice IMO.

Personally, I like to see a mix of both professional shots and candid shots.  Also a mix of photos from varying angles.  If all her photos are from odd angles or with odd lighting, it can be a tip-off that there is something off.  You can hide a lot of flaws by using odd angles and lighting.  A good mix of shots helps you get a more accurate sense of what she looks like.

I like both, but the caveat being, I do not like photoshopped images. I want to know that the package behind the door is what I expected. Same goes with those angled shots, that may hide stuff.....Professional shots that get great poses and backgrounds are good. For me, it's all about the energy being shown in the image... My thing are those tease/peak photos... Love them...

It depends upon whether we are talking aesthetics or practicality.

In any case, be sure the lighting is good.  Don't skimp on being revealing, and for God's sake, would it kill anyone to smile a bit

It's sexier when you don't smile. It's called, 'sultry' :)

We are not all "gentlemen". Some of us are lady hobbyists. Now you know. :)

As far as photos go- I'm not fussy about amateur vs professional quality. Just make them current and real.

I like to see a mix of angles with different body positions, if there are all just ass pictures, I know somethings up.
Pro or not doesn't matter, as long as there recent and accurate.

Recent and accurate is the most important. Plus it helps you as well so you don't have someone show up and say "this wasn't what I was expecting" and leave. I have read to be wary of professional pictures, because that can be a sign that it is fake/LE. I'll let others give thoughts on that one.

Like I like to see most is face and body, and not from any unusual angles. Selfies are fine. Underwear shots will probably help you get more clients, but as long as it's not baggy clothes it's not a deal breaker for me.

Selfie shots work best when you take your selfie from above, so you're looking up and your cleavage is showing.  As for professional photos, just pretend you're posing for Playboy, and they'll be sexy enough to draw attention.

I hate it when I read reviews that tell me the pics are old, and not representative of the provider.  They don't have to be from yesterday, I'd say the last year would be sufficient.  A mix of candid non-pro shots, and some pro shots is fine.  If you don't want to show your face, that's ok, and pics do not have to be pornographic either.  But I do want to get a good idea of your figure.

LLAP,
Swim

nice dress, etc. as well as posses including a least one (several preferred) full shots to show her true height / proportion. Photo angles can be deceiving you know.

It is not necessary to show lots of nudes; some of us like to unwrap the present.

I bet I see 10 times the butt pictures that I want to...   show me the rest of you!

You're selling the sizzle, as they say.  Pro shots (by that I mean nicely composed, could be by an amateur) should be part of your portfolio.  Selfies tend to be easy but also unsatisfying.  You can throw them into the mix as recent pics, but should really have some nice HD photos.  I'm actually surprised by how many providers have low quality pictures.

That said, a mix of flattering clothed and unclothed pictures.  These can be tasteful.  Like nudes in an art gallery.

The item shown in this photo is not sexy.

Tip #2: neither is a roll of toilet paper.

I'm always amazed at these commode in the scene pics.  Not particularly something I wish to see if you are hoping to catch my attention.  But damn, what a delicious body!  Please provide a link so I can see more.

I've been around a really long-ass time and have looked at thousands of escort pics over the years; I can only recall a handful of non-dominatrix, S&M or fantasy providers who displayed an angry or mean expression.  And with one of them, who posts on the Photo Only Board, I think it's more a case of Bitchy Resting Face.  ;-)

I've seen lots of blank stares, serious/seductive looks, and smoldering come-hither expressions but the "mean girls"?
Not so much..... so where on earth are you looking that you're finding these ladies who are so pissed off during their photo sessions??
Maybe they're mad at the photographer? LOL.

I don't smile in photos for a very important reason: my smile is VERY recognizable by anyone who knows me.
In fact, I make sure to use/wear expressions that are NOT normal for me in my pics, even though I only show the very lower-half of my face.   And that is in precious few photos anyway.  :-)

Smile?  I might as well show my whole face & out myself to everyone I know.  ;-)

Your reason for not smiling makes perfect sense but I have seen numerous girls who show their face unblurred that don't smile.

When I ask them why, I usually get "well thats not the model way, sweetie."

That doesn't make any sense to me. This realm is MUCH more than looks, whereas modeling is ALL about looks.

Guys, and in this case, girls, look at that and see "bitchy", "unfriendly", "aloof" and "detached." Not exactly the look one should go for in an intimate client service business where the "connection" is SO important to so many johns/janes

They don't seem to want to capture you smiling, or bringing any energy to the picture! And it is hard to find a provider photographer who has a photo-journalistic side, in my experience anyway.

Looks are one thing but a smile or some kind of facial expression (even partially blurred) can say so much more about the lady. I am naturally very expressive so the serious face just looks ridiculous! Unless it's for BDSM stuff, then you do what you gotta do! lol

Lets not forget that.

If any photog really won't take pics of a smiling woman, then you don't hire that person.

And in todays world, selfies can quickly supplement hot pics with tons of smiles.

Lets not blame the photog

Even when you are super specific about your brand, your visions, likes & dislikes, they still have their own style. And while they will say yes, that doesn't always translate into the right images. I shot with a very popular provider photographer (not Aldo, lol) and the pictures were terrible! I used to do professional makeup and have worked with lots of photogs and even being super specific with her, it was a bust.

You obviously have never done professoonal provider shoots before but I am telling you, they are a different animal than civvy shoots. Especially if the lady has a specific vision for her provider brand or maybe is very creative, likes the non-typical shots, it's best to DIY. It's much harder to find a compatible photog taking those things into consideration than you think

And that can ONLY happen if YOU allow it. Pre-shoot chats about your brand are essential and some ladies are just too laid back or shy to demand what they need.

Remember this started about smiling in pics and that sort of thing should be EASILY talked about prior to the shoot. If you get a "well, I don't do that" then you don't hire him/her. It is just that simple.

I have worked with numerous photogs professionally and personally over the years and if I am paying them, they do what I want. I will listen to their ideas, as they are professionals, but at the end of the day, I am responsible, not the photog, for how my product/service appears to the public. Period.

It may be "easier said than done", but it needs to get "done" the way I/client want it to be done and it is no one's fault but mine if I allow a photog to dictate to me. Aint gonna happen. Trust me. lol

Good debate. Peace!

I said I was super specific in writing about what was wanted before hiring her, and the photog agreed and that was not what was delivered in proofs, at all. There have been other photographers that have been declined and that's cool, no problem there. So no, not all photographers would do what you want just because you are paying them. lol

That's great that you have hired photogs many times but this is a common discussion with ladies. Provider shoots are a different than civilian. Boudoir, nude, doubt you have hired for and done those. ;) Shooting humanity is different than an inanimate "product". Apples and oranges.

You said "They don't seem to want to capture you smiling..." And now you are saying they won't give you the proofs! LOL

If they won't give you proofs of pics they took of you smiling when you asked in a pre-shoot discussion to do so, they are liars, extremely unprofessional and frauds.

I don't know a single girl in the biz who can't get smiling pics. If they don't have them, it's bc they don't want them.

Did you see Debbie's response? She doesn't want smiling pics, she isn't saying she can't get them. She PASSED on getting them to protect her identity. NO ONE would say they CANT get them.

Your argument is just silly at this point and you are embarrasing yourself

I never said they wouldn't give me the proofs. Please quote where I said that. The proofs have nothing to do with smiling or not, btw.

No embarrassment here, my reading comprehension is just fine. Yours needs some work though

And I've shot with at least 6 different professional photographers since '05. I'm paying them so I  get some shots of me smiling every photoshoot. I take other kinds as well but it's MY shoot.

Steph xoxo

All you have to do is think about me.

See how easy that is?

You know that one was just WAAAAAYYYY too easy to pass up. lmao

She likes my sense of humor.

But I like to make her giggle too

You know, this is an important point. A smile says a lot about someone and is very personal.

And resting bitch face is a thing. Really. It's hard to half smile, partly with your eyes. Which.. are going to get blurred out anyway. Also, finding positions/ outfits where you're showing the right amount of skin/ with the right fashion/in the right location is hard enough.

Seriously, I'm going photoshoot happy. But it's hard to get a smiling picture without it being very clear *who* you are. And if you're not in a place to do that, it's a good reason to have that mischevious half smile.

Either way, it's harder than it looks, fellas.

But glad to hear your feedback. About to do another photoshoot soon, so will take note. And nice to virtually meet you, Debra!

I like to see a variety of positions to highlight your body features but not to the point that nothing is left to the imagination. A dress shirt half buttoned showing not only your shape but teases me with something like a breathing hard nipples is gonna get me every time. Play with some angles. If you have nice skin, then let me see theach texture in one of your photos.

Be authentic. If you are gonna blur your face in one pic, then don't show me your face in another. I cannot understand that and I don't know about other guys but that turns me off.
