The reason I continued on, so that you know, is that I thought that you might be busy with another client and could/would not answer your phone. But, since 10:00, then 10:15 came around and still nothing from you, well..... what would you do? How would you feel? hmmmm ok it's late and I'm going to try and put this in a way that doesn't offend a provider or a hobbyist.  That said, the reason why he probably continued to come to your incall location is probably (and I'm guessing here) because he figured that you may have been at the end of a previous session while he was calling......so maybe he figured that, you didn't want to be rude to your client to pick up the phone, and that you would call back when you were alone.  I've done this before myself.  I have called a provider to let her know that I'm on my way, I leave a vmail, and then 10 mins later I get a call back saying "sorry I was in the shower, or getting ready, or something else", but I didn't turn around because she didn't pick up the phone.  The same goes if a provider calls me 1 or 2 hours before a meeting, if I don't pick up my phone, I don't assume that our meeting is cancelled because I may be in a work meeting where I can't pick up the phone to speak to a provider.  Lost phone or not, if you had his number on an email, then you should have called him(I'm guessing you screen, so you should have had a number).  If u only had his number on your cell phone, then it's understandable.

You knew the guy was coming so losing your phone shouldn't have been any reason for you not to be there.  

You may very well be a great provider and we all know that nobody bats 1000%, but it's your responsibility to keep the appointments you make and to give notice of cancellation for those that you can't make and you failed to do so (barring medical/family emergencies, etc..).

But rather than split hairs (ever hear of a pay phone or a land line?) and point fingers an apology here would have been much more appropriate than an attempt to bail yourself out and point fingers back.

That NEVER happens with me.

Some guys get miffed that I make them use a booking form on my site...but notice I never stand anyone up, I'm never late, I don't delay your appt time.

If you book with me, you can expect smooth sailing----not to mention I'm a hotty too!


For all those guys that cry about having to use an appt form----it saves time, saves confusion, and guarantees we are both on the same page---I know when you want to meet exactly, how long you want to play, the rate is agreed upon, and no surprises---well, unless you count lingerie as a surprise!

Now, that's my feelings too. There are plenty of good providers that make us men feel great. God Bless them all, and Happy Holidays!! Even you Arista!

No shows no calls happen. Both ways. But I am sure hobbyists change/cancel meetings much more often than providers. You're obviously a vet and am surprised this never happened before. In 6+ years it has happened to me twice, both by superstars and I had no backup plan for that evening. That sucks. But if it happens 1/30 or 1/40 times that's OK by me.
