END OF MESSAGE

Providers, I work with alot of young, disabled vets. Many are from the current wars, a few are from some of the lesser known conflicts. All are injured in some way that leaves them feeling emasculated. How open would you be if presented with the idea of providing for a number of vets under some sort of "contract"? Injuries could range from paralysis to amputation to burns. Some can't even have sex but would get off on the attention alone. A good number of them can but face esteem issues. How plausible is this in your opinion? Please be EXTREMELY honest.

First let me commend you for the work you are doing. I just have a question which I'm sure some of the ladies will as well, what are the "terms" of your "contract". Most importantly who is going to be "paying" for the ladies time and companionship?

and how mental are they?

I don't want a guy who has flashbacks of war and shooting or attacking me

all injuries he refers to are strictly physical.

If your post regarding them to be "mental" was a joke I find it in poor taste. If it was not a joke please re-read because he does not mentiona ny form of mental illness nor post traumatic stress disorders.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

And it wasnt a joke.. It is a very logical statement/question...

And very  prevalent with anyone fighting war, seeing war, commanding war..

as twice wounded Marine in two tours in Viet Nam, I can tell you it is not something that goes away with time. These poor guys have gotten past that in most instances.

Fortunately, I have not turned on a provider and pulled my M-16 in the heat of passion. LOL

Having to kill (even though the enemy in war) is not easy for most of us or seeing a buddy get his guts splatered all over the jungle (that is even worse) guess I'm lucky and am OK, maybe cause i just do not have much of a mind lol.
However a guy I was with over there came  home to carolina and  about 10 years after he was home beat the crap out of an oriental guy , just cause he thought he looked a little bit like a guy who killed one of our buddies.
he did not go to jail but had to spend a number of hours with  a shrink. as far as I know he has never done it again.
As I am told that kind of stuff does not happen very often.
Thank You

especially on a discussion board. Most people though they can sympathize, can't really. Took this country a long time to get over it, and I think we are there. There are only HEROES on the wall. The rest of us were just there.

We know each other by the "1,000 yard stare".

I am very aware of "mental illness" as well as forms of PTSD. To me it seems logical that since Catdaddy started the thread and seems to care dearly about this subject I would assume he would make some/any reference to mental illness if that was their problems. He specifically states "Injuries could range from paralysis to amputation to burns." There is nothing in that statement which would cause alarm to their mental stablility. Now her direct response to this is "and just how mental are they" seems to be a bit of a cheap shot or attempt at humor.

Hey for once I'm not trying to criticize anyone look at my initial response was a pro-provider trying to fill in some gaps that Catdaddy seemed to leave out.

Sorry if I turned this into a rant however there are few things I respect more than our soldiers both past & present......sorry if I mis-read.

I remember back when New Orleans was a city, and I was told that the cemetary wasn't the place for a tourist to go alone.  I blew it off, thinking it was somebody trying to sell a tour.  Using the same logic, the Las Vegas strip is no place for a tourist to travel unattended at 4:30am.  Bill was remiss in his duty to protect you.

Did that make sense.. Id think PTSD would be obtained from paralysis to amputation to burns...

Well I love you and I love debating you.....I think you would be the kind of G/F who I would go out with just for the make up sex.

If the PTSD was obtained from the paralysis or amputation then I doubt the flashback's would be of "war and shooting or attacking".

Yes he may wake up in cold sweats and try to get up and walk or be in denial of his situation but probably not violent.

In either case the term "and how mental are they" is in very bad taste if you ask me.

Can we make up now....??? : )

Be well everyone especially our Vets, and Thank you to those of you who are.

I said it was poorly worded as well..

as for make up sex.. Im stubborn as can be, youd still never get it. Id just go to Bill and get some :)

I have absolutely no problem seeing gents who are disabled (it allows my creativity juices to really get flowing)... But, I, too, would be interested in hearing more about the "contract" of which you are speaking.

A while back, the owner of some Nevada brothel worked some kind of limited time deal that any active duty serviceman would get some deal that was as good as a freebie.

The owner was the guy who got stuck with the bill, and I assume he recouped in marketing, or just lived with the loss.

I don't think that would work the same way where you're dealing with an illegal service.  A contract is useless unless it's recognized by the state, ie., in Nevada in a licensed business, or in Mexico.

For me, one important part of being an escort is that I am a healer. I welcome the opportunity to help those with disabilities to experience joy, sexuality and human connection and to feel better about themselves. You might have legal problems with the terms of the "contract" you propose, but your basic concept is wise and compassionate. Go for it!

For the record, PTSD isn't exclusive to combat vets alhough it is prevalent. The stereotype of the old crazy one-eyed Nam vet uncle in a wheelchair who snaps every time a balloon pops is just that...a stereotype. These boys are normal young men dealing with reattaching to their manhood. Some are shell-shocked (you would be too if a mine blew off both of your legs) but still want some pussy every now and then. Watch the movie 'Born on the Fourth of July' and you'll understand my question (specifically, the scene with Tom Cruise and the hooker).

Some are shell-shocked -

Is part of PTSD.

are we done yet ?

LOL!
