As long as you have half decent photos of yourself out there, ...

you should not have to send any more.

On the other hand, I'm not sure there's any big deal to doing so, so it's up to you.

Clients should never have to send a photo of themselves

I've only posted on BP and without fail, I get requests for additional pics for "verfification."  I always, always decline, but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on legitimate potential clients.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on this.  Do you send them out?  When do you - only after they send one of themselves?

Thanks!

like an arms length selfie or full body pic with a random hand gesture of my choosing. I need to know you're not a catfish if I have to drive out far to see you.

I just want to make sure your pics were not stolen from somewhere

your local regional ad board which can include a link to an ad or your personal website.  You can also post pics daily on the photo only board.  Post on your local regional board so guys will get a feel for your personality.

Question, do you have a personal website?  If not, you might consider it.  There are several free templates that you can use, and post some pictures on.  Another question, what kind of pics are you posting?  Do you show your face?

If you have an adequate number of pics in various places, I would say don't send them any more.  In fact, I've seen many ads and sites that specifically tell guys not to ask for more pictures.

I tried to post an ad....how long does it take to get approved.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I do not know why as I cannot read it.  As far as a timeline for your ad appear, I have no knowledge of admin's policy on that.  It may just depend on how soon it got evaluated after you submitted it.  In the self help center, there are specific guidelines for posting provider ads.  Did you follow them?  You might check your account manager and look for 'my board posts', the reason might be there.  If you think you did follow the posting rules, use the 'contact us' button if there is no feedback from admin and ask why your ad has not posted.

appointment requests from guys here who will be less likely to ask for "verification" pics

Was when a guy wanted a verification pic to prove I wasn't a cop. I sent him a pic of a dick in my mouth and he responded saying he needed a topless one to truly prove it.

So yeah.

I always want to see a variety of pictures different views, can be assorted states of dress & undress...  but so that I know what the lady looks like naked... so I can judge my attraction.  I think the least number is about 6 if done well.  I think they should be on her web site, under her control.  She should rotate pictures on her ads.   IMHO, pictures need not be totally explicit & need not show face.  Ok to blur Tat's if they are identifying but I want to know they are there if they are conspicious.
Guys are visual.  Pictures is the first hurtle in my To Do list.  One last thing, you need to look like your pictures...  they might be valid for a year or even 2...  or your appearance might change in a few months.
I AM suspicious of just one or 2 pictures that appeal to me...  because I've found they were SEVERELY out of date & did not represent her current appearance fairly.  If I can't find enough pictures, I'll assumre you are hiding something & I'll move on.

I would suggest you refer any such requests to your web site.

There have been a couple times where the escort did not look like the picture. One was not remotely close. Even though the ad said these pics are real. So, perhaps you could just tell them you'll send a selfie to show the pictures match. If they say they want nudes, or some pornographic pose, it's probably best to move on.

Having a website will fix your problems. Direct your potential visitors to your website for more pics.
In my opinion, guys asking for verification pics are scamming you. If you have quality photos, a website, and an online presence whether it is here, Twitter, Instagram, etc... there is no need for you to send them additional photos. DO NOT LET GUYS TELL YOU OTHERWISE.

Think about it. Will this "verification pic" make them feel any different after seeing the pics that you already have in your ad? NO. What is a "verification pic" verifying anyway? That the pics in your ad are not fake? They can verify that themselves by performing reverse image search.
