Thank you for the advice :)

Yeah, I tried shooting a few videos myself. Maybe if I had a friend to hold the camera,  and more experience video editing, that it could be a fun thing to have. But as it is now, I think maybe I need to be taking more selfies. haha.

I did manage to track down a photog that wasn't too too far away, and had a nice little photo shoot. So, I've at least got a few new "pretty" pictures to post to my site. I may add a disclaimer as well, I am the worst about changing my hair. In the last 6 months I've had several cuts and colors. I have poor hair related impulse control. whoops

Another question for you lovely people;  Because the pictures on my site are currently, A) not super, or B) no longer reflect what I look like (my hair changes A LOT)...I was thinking posting a little "Howdy, how do you do" clip.
What sorts of things would make or break that for you?

I do have a photoshoot tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure on the turn around of me having pretty pictures in my hot little hand. Better to be over prepared right?

Thank you again for all y'alls helpfulness. :

I would replace them with a few selfies just to give you some time to get the professional photos back.

A few well done, short vids wouldn't hurt in the interim.

Even if the only change is my hair color? ...although I guess that makes sense. I guess it is selfie o'clock then.

But you said the pics "no longer reflect what I look like."

If that is the case, it doesn't make sense to keep them up, but if it is only your hair color that is different, I don't see a big deal about leaving them up but that also depends on how long you think it will take to get the new pics.

Good luck with the shoot Bella!

them up but put a disclaimer on your website saying "I am now an blonde not a red head as shown in the pics." Obviously I guess at the two hair colors.

Like you said, hair color/styles come and go weekly... especially those that use wigs/extensions... etc. No need to change web site photos that frequently

If you want to post a short video, go for it!  They are very, very popular. ;-)

But just to have an accurate representation of your current hair color & style?  Really all that's necessary, IMO, is a selfie or two with the date so it's obvious those are the most recent ones.  AND add a note to your gallery that the most recent images will always reflect your current look.

Just putting up a disclaimer?  Yeah, it'd be nice if that worked but the problem is too many potential clients DO NOT READ that stuff.  They just don't.

They DO look at the pretty pictures, though! ;-)

Hope that helps! xoxox
