Cross-branding

I think the question below - do you want to run two lines (Cam and Escort), or do you want to use AbbiCam to attract people to AbbiEscort - is the first one to answer.  Once we have that straight, let's talk. ;)

The thing you've already done - adding your live cam feed to your AbbiMinx site - is good, but you may consider posting a few short teasing video clips, and also a live cam session schedule, for people (like me, just now, Wed 6/15 at 8PM in Minnesota) who visit when you're not on camera.  We might want to come back when we can get a look at you live!  I'm your target market - I live in your area.  Your website looks good; so do you.  Tease me a little more, is what I'm sayin'.

This is more of a question for providers, but anyone feel free to respond.

I don't have a business degree so the whole branding concept is new to me and it's definitely a learning curve. I'm experimenting with camming and have the info easily accessible on my personal platform in the hopes of bringing in potential clients who may not have seen me elsewhere. Have other providers done this? If not, what are the other ways to build a brand for yourself? I know verification can get tricky when I leave the realm of TER and the other couple (as in 2) sites that do verification. But I just want to get my name out there as much as possible.

Suggestions?

Thanks!!!

she's on TER, Eros, is a member of P411 and on My Provider Guide! The only things I can think of off the Top of my heard is trying Twitter. and Twitter takes some work and you don't get overnight success.

Doing a search of posters on her home board discussion board (Minn), I don't find and posts by her, so I would advise her to participate there. And always take average of a free ad every 7 days on her home ad board.

Steph :-)

Are you saying that you want to have the Abbi Cam Girl brand and the Abbi Escort brand? And you want to keep them separate or you want them cross-fertilize?

Are you just looking for alternative ad sites and options

I totally agree with what you're saying - I've been struggling with the cam platform being buggy and crash-y, as well as figuring out how to record my chat sessions. Since I only do camming at my incall apartment (not where I actually live), it's been super sporadic so yes, a set schedule as well as teaser videos are a must. I just get so frustrated when little things don't work, like yesterday the sound kept going out and I am clueless as to whether it's my camera (I got a super nice HD one) or the site.

In terms of lines I'm running, my goal is to do relatively well for myself in the adult entertainment industry. Eventually I hope to get into porn (still in research and sending pictures phase), so the camming serves two purposes - to attract more clients as well as to provide exposure to break into porn. Apparently it's harder to get into porn when you're not super (or even basically) thin, so I'm kind of banking on my prettiness. Not trying to sound full of myself, just realistic.

Thank you for your response! It helped me clarify my goals :)

I use my performer for everything, I mean everything.
it helps bc there is not a question who I am on the web or just a household name so to speak. I stick with one name. All my social media is ONE name.
People have knocked my name for years and it came as a joke but it was catchy. I have been online since 2009 and if i attempted to use another name, it was like I was explaining myself, who I am and where they can find me and yes I am that person.
Branding is so important if you have a online and social media presence. On some cam sites you cant expose social media on their platforms but its easy to say "just google me"

I look at it like this, my name is all I have, its mine, I own it. I own google when my name is typed in, meaning its all erikaxstacy.
It doesn't take long. I like my google history goes back to 2008. People see I have a presence.
It is very important to brand your name, marketing 101. I learned just by being me, not wanting to keep up with a slew of names but it worked out.
twitter, instagram, all that use it and get yourself out there
if your cross branding, its a good thing. I do it and it makes life easy
Im also not a quiet gal, I dont mind my business being out there
Think though, this shit will stay forever and you make sure you want that
Good luck!
