the details in the reviews.

If I were visiting NYC, I would see your two reviews and wonder why the one score was lower. After reading the reviews, I would not hesitate to contact you.

I am fairly new to this business and I only have two reviews and both are comparable when you read them. I xoxcos their brains out and if you read both reviews they both pretty much said that. But one person gave me a 9 and one gave me a 7. It seems so subjective . He said he had an amazing time and yet he gave me a 7. I never got anything less than an A or A- in school so this is hard to take. Do I have any recourse?

Am I crazy? Please read the reviews and let me know if I am crazy and if I should even care.

thank you

Mischa

i never did care for the idea of a 1-10 rating system. it's far too subjective, and as you have seen, one person's "9" is another's "7". most of us read the details reviews, not just the numbers. the details are what determine the value for the money i.m.o.

still, a "9' verses a "7" is not as disparate as it may seem. don't stress it. from what i can tell from your website, you'll not likely have a problem obtaining clientele.

And yes, of course it is subjective. There is no science behind any of this.

If you stick at it, you will have a guy leave the room thinking he had a bad time and he will write a great review and vice versa.

Don't get caught up in any one review. Guys look at the totality of the reviews for the most part.

The recourse you have is to try and get better, if you can, or delist yourself from TER.

I would give it time if I were you. Get 8-10 reviews and reassess.

Again, an average of 9 after two reviews if more than fine.

Of course it's subjective. A review is the client's opinion of how the meeting went, and of your appearance and performance - not yours. This is a personal service, and clients are individuals with their own tastes and desires, so their opinions will vary.

You should not seek recourse against clients who don't think you're perfect. You will gain a bad reputation for doing so, and it can backfire on you very badly. What you CAN do is to constantly improve yourself and what you offer to your clients (within your personal limits).

Humans are far more complex than a test in school. There is no way to be every client's perfect experience, but if you always try to give your clients the best, you will get great reviews. Don't get caught up with comparing yourself to other ladies. Focus on making your own clients happy.

Neither a 7 nor a 9 are bad scores. A 7 or a 9 does NOT mean a client is unhappy. As JackDunphy said, many ladies would be thrilled to have your scores.

Too many here have been conditioned to think a 7 is a bad score so therefore the client must be unhappy. When you read the review in question the client states he was thrilled and will see her again.

The text is all important as anyone thinking this was a bad review will get a different take upon reading the review in its entirety.

To the OP, I initially didn't look at your pics. Now that I have, seems to me you will be a star in this biz as you really seem to care about what the client thinks and you are clearly very hot.

Normally, I'd wish you luck at this point but I don't the think you are going to need it. lo

Your bio says that you are "a recent Ph.D. graduate in a science field." That's a waste when it comes to trying to analyze the TER Scoring system!

Remember the word - number meanings:

7 - Hot time
8 - Went the extra mile
9 - Forgot it was a service
10 - One in a lifetime

Hot time is GOOD, even GREAT! "One in a lifetime" should mean any reviewer can only give out a single 10 no matter how many reviews he has (maybe reviewing a new 10 should automatically reset the previous 10 to a 9?).  The scoring system is antiquated and gets criticized a lot. Whatever they were thinking when they came up with the current system, they probably regretted it the next day when they sobered up.

I read the detailed reviews and that's more important to me than the number. Continue to provide good (or great!) service and an enjoyable experience and that 7 will soon be buried in the more customary 9s and 10s you seem to deserve.  Whatever you do, don't dwell on it

They figure if the phone is ringing and/or their email box is full no need to stress out over reviews. This strategy may not be for everyone, but it does work.

I noticed both of the reviewers are relatively inexperienced at least when it comes to writing reviews.  One guy has written 3 reviews and the other I think it was 9 reviews. For many clients it takes time to get their scoring "legs" so to speak. Future clients who've been around take into account the reviewers experience.

I've read many reviews where the reviewer wrote she was gorgeous and I had a great time and the numerical score was a 7/7 or worse.

And wait until you get your first "fake" review. But that's for another thread.

his is not a test with concrete right/wrong answers.  You could provide a wonderful session full of high energy and passion and think you have nothing else to give. Yet that particular hobbyist was seeking something else, so while he had a good time, he gives you a 7 for performance. Another guy for whatever reason physically expected you have a slightly different look than your website indicates and he gives you an 8 for appearance. No matter what you do, how you act, how you perform in the sack, or how you look, every hobbyist will view the totality of the experience differently. The scores will reflect these varying viewpoints.

Also keep in mind that not every hobbyist takes "the numbers" and applies them the same. You can read two virtually verbatim reviews where the words are the same (i.e She was totally hot, I had an awesome time and I would definitely see her again). The first hobbyist scores it a 10/9 and the second hobbyist scores it an 8/7.  No rules so don't try and figure it out. Nothing you could have done differently.

Don't get caught up in the numbers. Most hobbyists read the reviews really to make sure the session went off without issue and that he was satisfied with the overall experience

If you xoxcos half as good as you look, you'll have no problem.  Your website is well-done and professional, likewise your photos.  You've invested time and effort in your business.  The only issue you have in my book is that you're not in Minnesota. ;)

Some guys might think a mostly oral session is the height of ecstasy.  Others might prefer that as an appetizer and intercourse as the main course.  Communication is the key.

As a fellow perfectionist, I too struggle with the reviewing system. I've had a couple of reviews that weren't that bad but gave me 6's... I was so mad until I was finally able to let it go. I think the more reviews you get, the more comfortable you'll be with the average. I mean it still stings when I get anything less than a 7, but I get over it in a day or so. Plus there is usually a better review coming your way. A good friend told me to not get too high off of good reviews and not get too low off the bad ones. It's still hard not to get excited when I get a 9, but since I've had more than one less than flattering review, it's helped thicken my skin a bit.

But yeah, it's hard to be rated when you're usually the best at anything you do.

He is new too and maybe thought he was rating too high.     I would read the 7 and see what he said.     He said you were great.     I would book you if the price was in my range.
Beautiful woman by your pictures.

If you give good service anywhere close to how hot you are, you will have no problems with great reviews.
